The most important food to eat each day is pizza... or at least that is the way it is for college students since a lot of the other food is poor quality or not that interesting. The pizza at George Fox University is definitely one of the best parts of meals... at times it's the only good food that appeals to my taste buds. There's always pepperoni, cheese and the "special." (It's usually quite good.)
I actually have been working at the cafeteria for over a semester and help with the pizza serving! I have observed many things, and I thought I would share some interesting observations with you about pizza in the way of memes.

Many people say that too much of anything is bad for you, but this idea is simply nonexistent for students at George Fox University when it comes to pizza!
Sadly sometimes the cafeteria doesn't have any pizza.
There's been a couple of times that the pizza chef has been sick, and it honestly feels like there's a small violin playing in the cafe instead of "Shake it off" by Taylor Swift. HOW DARE YOU SAY COLLEGE STUDENTS SHOULD JUST SHAKE IT OFF!!!
Extreme Pepperoni Fans
Listen people...making pizza is an art. I mean...
I must say that the pepperoni fans can be at times a bit rude and not very patient. One person even said to me in a snarky tone, "So...when is the pepperoni finally going to be ready?"
Some of these extreme pepperoni fans can be quite rude when their slice doesn't have a lot of pepperoni on it. I admit that it's at times hard to please the pizza fanatics.
People apparently associate pizza with pepperoni because I can't tell you how many times people have asked me for pizza. I ask them, "What kind would you like?" They sometimes answer, "I said pepperoni."
The Pizza Lines
At times, the lines can be very long especially since it does take a while to make such a masterpiece. The students seem to get so excited when the pizza is being cut into pieces. There are honestly two reactions that I see from the students.
The Great Slice Deliberation
What is the most humorous is the deliberation that some students have when it comes to how many pieces they want. At first, they seem to only want one, but then they debate about it for more time than it takes to complete a calculus problem. I'm not entirely making fun of them since it is a very important decision and dictates their subsequent happiness or depression if they haven't grabbed another. I have to admit that at times I have to make the decision for them.
I'm pretty great at seeing the patterns of what people tend to get when it comes to pizza. When people deliberate and only get one piece, they always come back! I have to admit that there are some who are enthusiastically excited about coming back for more that they leave with this weird I-Love-Pizza mojo.
The "Specials"
The pizza chefs also make gluten-free pizzas, and there have been quite a number of people who have claimed to be gluten-free but eat pizzas with gluten.
Props to the delivery people
I have quite a flare for pizza serving... I mean, not only do a lot of people know me (people knowing and liking me is associated with the pizza being amazing obviously), but also I know how to entice people into getting more pizza. More pizza is served on the day that I serve than the other days.
Don't be that dude
I should like to end my memes with a warning for students... please be careful about taking the last slice of pizza. Some people (and I am seriously not joking) can get pretty upset when there is no pizza.
#PizzaCorps
Most of all, this job has given me ways to relate to others! It's amazing how close you can get to people when serving pizza. I mean, I'm such a big part of people's lives. People who get the most pizza tend to be some of my best friends now.
