There are many moments in which I feel myself needing to look into the camera longingly like Jim or shout and celebrate like Michael.

Some things you feel and experience in college, you can't quite explain with words of your own. Perhaps it is easier when you explain using gifs.

If you're ever looking for a little pick-me-up or some reassurance that someone else feels the same way you do, it's never a bad idea to find comfort in "The Office."

After all, it is extremely relatable and you'll have plenty of good laughs while you're at it.

When you finally get to move into your first dorm/apartment

The Office

It's finally time to start your independence!

After the first week of classes, excitement will probably bubble down to stress

The Office

No matter how hard you try to see the bright side of things, it will be difficult.

Sometimes you overestimate just how much time you have to get ready for class before you're late

The Office

Running across campus starting at 8:55 when you have a class at 9 a.m. should be an extreme sport.

You @ yourself when it's 2 a.m. and you haven't eaten since noon

The Office

Ramen at two in the morning never did anyone wrong ... right?

When you have to take that really random gen-ed class that has nothing to do with your major

The Office

I'm studying the brain, so why do I need to learn about the constellations? Sure, they're cool, but tell me more about the hippocampus.

Even when you try your best, it doesn't always turn out how you want

The Office

Kevin's chili represents the grade that you have held onto so carefully until that one test that really wrecks you.

When you start to make more friends on campus

The Office

Turns out, your lab partner is pretty cool!

When you see a student walking around taking surveys for their class

The Office

I'd love to help out, but please, I need to study.

Birthdays in the adult world aren't as fun as when you were little

The Office

Even with classes and work, try your best to relax a little on your day!

When you and your friend miss the same class on the same day

The Office

And now, you probably will never have the notes.

When you're finally done with classes for the semester

The Office

You finally can get some rest, knowing that you did your best for the semester!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
