John Mayer fixes everything. At least that is what I keep telling myself.

It doesn't matter whether you were on his side or Taylor Swift's side. You have to agree that his songs can be used to get through any situation. Use this as a guide when you feel a mood and need a song to get you through it.

1. Deep thoughts while driving home after work.

Why Georgia

"Cause I wonder sometimes about the outcome of a still verdictless life"

2. Making small talk with an ex and they bring up someone else's name.

Heartbreak Warfare

"Drop his name. Push it in and twist the knife again. Watch my face as I pretend to feel no pain."

3. Accidentally sending a text to the wrong person and following it with hitting yourself in the head repeatedly.

My Stupid Mouth

"Thanks for playing, try again. How could I forget? Mama said "think before speaking" No filter in my head. Oh, what's a boy to do. I guess he better find one"

4. Getting broken up with. Followed by zero explanation.

I'm Gonna Find Another You

It's really over. You made your stand. You got me crying. As was your plan. But when my loneliness is through I'm gonna find another you.

5. The First Day of School and you already feel behind.

Stop This Train

Stop this train. I want to get off and go home again. I can't take the speed it's moving in. I know I can't. But, honestly, won't someone stop this train?

6. Crossing off the last item on the to-do list.

Clarity

By the time I recognize this moment. This moment will be gone.

7. Everything feels like it's crashing down around you.

War of My Life

I'm in the war of my life. At the door of my life. Out of time and there's no where to run away.

8. Planning a life with your significant other and then you break up.

In Your Atmosphere

I'm gonna steer clear. Burn up in your atmosphere. I'm gonna steer clear. 'Cause I'd die if I saw you. I'd die if I didn't see you there

9. Walking past someone you know and not sure whether or not to say "Hello"

Do You Know Me?

It's just the strangest thing. I've seen your face somewhere. Do you know me, at all?

10. Can't stop thinking about Mr. Right, but filling the void with Mr. "Right-Now"

Another Kind of Green

Someday you'll drift away from me. Adopt some new philosophy that doesn't keep the two of us in mind. Move into someone else's place and stare into some other's eyes. And slowly only come to realize that you didn't need another kind of green to know I'm on the right side with you.

11. Making the decision to focus on school rather than relationships.

Good Love Is On The Way

3 years broken hearted. But now her ghost is finally gone. I'm done with broken people. This is me. I'm working on.

12. Catching feelings during a "Friends With Benefits" situation.

Assasin

Should have turned around and left before the sun came up again. But the sun came up again.

13. Saying yes to plans and then getting a better offer.

Wait Until Tomorrow

I think we better wait till tomorrow. Got to make sure it's right, so until tomorrow, goodnight.

14. Mr. Wrong keeps asking to grab dinner.

I Don't Trust Myself (With Loving You)

I see through, through your love. Who do you love? Me or the thought of me?

15. Stress filled week accompanied with a panic attack.

The Heart of Life

Pain throws your heart to the ground. Love turns the whole thing around. No, it won't all go the way, it should but I know the heart of life is good.

16. Breaking up with "Mr. Perfect" because he is "Mr. Not-Perfect-For-You"

Something's Missing

Something's missing. And I don't know how to fix it. Something's missing. And I don't know what it is. No I don't know what it is. At all.

17. Defining a friendship that could be a relationship or nothing at all.

Friends, Lovers, or Nothing

There can only be one.

18. Trying to tell him how you really feel.

Say

Have no fear for giving in. Have no fear for giving over.

19. Thinking about Mr. WAY-OUT-OF-YOUR-LEAGUE

Something Like Olivia

No I'm not trying to steal no lover away from no one, man. But if Olivia herself rolled up my door. I'd have to say I'd let her in.

20. Trying to decide if you are better off with or without him.

Slow Dancing in a Burning Room

We're goin' down. And you can see it too. We're goin' down. And you know that we're doomed. My dear. We're slow dancing in a burnin' room.

21. Put Your Game Face On and Move On.

The Age of Worry

Don't be scared to walk alone. Don't be scared to like it.

22. Your unhealthy relationship is in the past.

New Deep

You wouldn't know me if your eyes were closed.

23. Finding happiness with yourself rather than a significant other.

Perfect Lonely

Nothing to do. No one but me. And that's all I need. I'm perfectly lonely...cause I don't belong to anyone. And nobody belongs to me.

24. Graduation Day!

Bigger Than My Body

Someday I'll fly. Someday I'll soar.

Anyone else agree that John Mayer will always be Mr. Right?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
