If you are already moved into college, lucky you. Some of us start school late and still have yet to embark on this well..."fun adventure."

Move-In day is a day full of sweat, tears, and maybe even some blood? It is a day full of loving goodbyes to your family and friends and the day where you either meet or reunite with your roommate. You can deny it all you want, but let's be real... move-in day is a lot of work and kind of sucks.

Here is college move-in day told by the characters of "Shameless."

1. Spending your last night at home reminiscing with your family.

2. Waking up early in the morning after being up all night thinking about move-in day.

3. Actually getting ready because you might see some "hot college boys/girls" and you have to look your absolute best... even though you will sweat it all off.

4. Having your morning cup of coffee because you know it's about to be a long day.

5. Saying goodbye to the house that holds your childhood memories within its walls.

6. Finally getting everything and everyone packed into the car.

7. Enjoying the car ride and then having a moment of realization that college is actually happening.

8. Feeling like the drive is taking FOREVER and your siblings are extra annoying. You think you might just lose it.

9. Stepping out of the car and looking at your home for the next four years.

10. Showing up at your dorm room, opening your door and seeing that your roommate is already there.

11. Your Dad, of course, makes a "Dad Joke" to your roommate.

12. Telling your family to get your stuff from the car and having them actually listen for once.

13. Giving your little brother your favorite pieces of clothing to carry up to the room.

14. When nothing fits in the room the way, you want it to.

15. When you finally get it all to fit after hours of playing "Tetris" with furniture.

16. And then you realize you forgot a box in the car...

17. Thankfully your Mom makes it all fit in the shoe box of a room, and of course, she's super proud of herself.

18. Your Dad starts getting emotional because he knows the "goodbye" is coming.

19.The time for the hug finally comes and you have to try and hold the tears back while your sister/brother just let the tears roll. Your Dad just kind of stands there quietly.

20. You make it back to your room, and the feels instantly hit you. Your family left, and it's time to be an adult. Yay, you!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
