As I have been going through college, I’ve kept track of some of the dumb mistakes I made along the way. These are some of the mistakes I made during my first week of college classes as I was getting used to living in a new city. I keep my mistakes in the notes section of my phone and have definitely accumulated enough things to document. This definitely isn’t the last of them (maybe I should start documenting the good memories to counterbalance the bad), but if anything it is funny to look back on some of my more unfortunate moments. Hopefully, I’m not the only one that is constantly on the struggle bus!

1. Thought I had an 8 a.m. class so I went to bed early the night before and woke up bright and early… turns out it was an 8 p.m. class

2. Found my classroom and panicked because the class had already started even though I was fifteen minutes early. I walked in trying to look apologetic…. It turns out it was the class before mine still in there.

3. Had a biology pop quiz on the first day of class… hadn’t even bought the textbook yet.

4. Went into the Co-Op to pick up my books, but I couldn’t figure out where to get them inside the store… instead of asking for help I just got frazzled and went home.

5. Decided to be a good productive college student and study outside… then a bird came and pooped on my brand new bio textbook.

6. Got sick my first week of college, was blowing my nose constantly. I met a cute guy in the lobby of my friend’s dorm and we had an awesome conversation the entire way up the elevator….I got to her room and saw in the mirror that I blown my nose so hard that it was bleeding. He hadn’t said a single thing to me the entire time.

7. My friend Isabel wore her Texas Tridelt face tattoo to the football game… and then became twitter famous because her tattoo was on backward. #SAXET

8. Finally figured out how to work the UT online portal… only to find out that I would be having 3 tests on the same day.

9. Walked home from the spray tan place looking like a Dorito and ran into a group of fraternity pledges.

10. Was watching a YouTube video about mitosis while walking to bio class and ran headfirst right into a pole.
