15 College Majors, If They Were Your Favorite Disney World Rides

I mean, if the life of an anthropology major is really just like It's A Small World, then sign me up!

Choosing a major in college is one of the hardest parts, but when you compare it to your favorite Walt Disney World rides it all becomes pretty simple and clear! I mean, if the life of an anthropology major is really just like It's A Small World, then sign me up!

Obviously, this is all for fun and not an actual representation of the following college majors!

1. Music - Rock 'n' Roller Coaster

I don't think this needs much explaining, but a ride totally focused on one of the most iconic bands of all time no doubt encompasses all that it is to be a music major — a love for music that lasts for centuries.

2. Environmental Science - Living with the Land

Wikimedia Commons

Living with the Land is all about sustainability and helping our environment. TBH, the people who work this ride are probably environmental science majors.

3. International Relations - Soarin' Around the World

Wikimedia Commons

Soar around the world and immerse yourself in new cultures on Soarin' Around the World... or as an international relations major.

4. Engineering - Test Track

Wikimedia Commons

Step One: Design your own car that will be the most reliable, the most efficient, and the fastest. Step two: Test it out. Pretty sure I just described engineering.

5. History - Haunted Mansion

Wikimedia Commons

Exploring a creepy, OLD, abandoned mansion on a ride sounds exactly like something a history major would want to do in real life. Why flip through a book when you could experience history first-hand — the older the better, am I right history majors?!

6. Business - Seven Dwarfs' Mine Train

Wikimedia Commons

Although it seems like a smooth ride compared to everyone else, like the Mine Train, Business majors have a lot of unexpected twists, turns and plummets to deal with.

7. Marketing - Toy Story Mania!

Flickr Creative Commons

Fun, colorful and creative with a mix of analytics as you try to zap the target worth the most points. Marketing in a nutshell.

8. Nursing - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Wikimedia Commons

"This here's the wildest ride in the WILDERNESS!"

Not even a Nursing major, but I can agree.

9. Astronomy - Space Mountain

Wikimedia Commons

Because doesn't everyone who majors in Astronomy shoot through space on a rocket ship while chocolate chip cookies float above their head?

10. Anthropology - It's A Small World

Wikimedia Commons

Learn about all cultures. Embrace all cultures. Respect all cultures.

11. Criminal Justice - Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin

Flickr Creative Commons

Protect and save the universe from the bad guys. And while the ride is a much more playful spin on that, criminal justice majors really do protect and save us once they graduate!

12. Theater - Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

Flickr Creative Commons

Get rid of your stage fright, hide your embarrassment, and exude laughter (or sadness, depending on how hangry you are) when you walk onto the Laugh Floor, or into the life of a theater major!

13. Marine Science - Pirates of the Caribbean

Wikimedia Commons

Sail the ocean blue in search of buried treasure! Or maybe just some new fish species, but either way, the ocean is your home!

14. Political Science - Mad Tea Party

Wikimedia Commons

Like the teacups, everything is always spinning 100 mph in circles in the life of politics, especially within all the individual parties. Each one is like its own Mad Tea Party.

15. Undeclared - PeopleMover

Wikimedia Commons

Like the PeopleMover, all the undeclared majors are just sitting back and enjoying the ride. Exploring new majors like Astronomy (aka Space Mountain) and Criminal Justice (aka Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin) during the ride, they are testing all the different waters and not quite sure which path they are ready to travel down yet.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
