You aren't a college student until you have experienced every single one of these things. I think we can all agree that it's pretty rough, but that's what makes college...well, college.
1. Being Extremely Exhausted
There is absolutely nothing worse than trying to stay awake through a 3-hour lecture after staying up half the night doing homework, and studying for a huge exam. Not only is it nearly impossible to stay awake during class, but you can barely stay awake long enough to make it back to your bed for a nap.
2. Being So Stressed You Can't Function
College is just a huge bundle of stress. The word College is even stressful to think about. College is just assignment after assignment and you feel like you will never get a break.
3. Being Lost And Confused In Your Classes
There is always that one professor that makes absolutely no sense and nobody in the class understands what's going on.
4. Having Way Too Much Homework
More often than not, you are drowning in homework assignments but all you want to do is binge watch Netflix or go out with your friends. Instead, you have to stay in and do homework for what feels like forever.
5. Having No Money
When you have $1.25 in your checking account but all you want is a burrito bowl from Chipotle for dinner. We go home to look for something to eat, but there's nothing there either, so we just go hungry. I think we all know the feeling.
6. Not Only Are We Poor Now, But We Are Going To Be Extra Poor Later
Sadly, most of us are using loans to pay for college. So we may think we are broke now, but it is only going to be worse later. This is a very painful reality to accept.
Oh college, one of the best, yet most exhausting and stressful time of our lives...
