At the end of the day, friends are friends. But, school friends are not just the ordinary friends when they have the blessing of seeing you 24 hours a day for 9 months of the year.
Here is how home friends differ from school friends:
1. They do not have the blessing of seeing your beautiful face all day, everyday, whenever their hearts desire throughout the school year
2. They are not able to have 24/7 movie nights and cuddles
3. The main source of communication during the school year is social media, rather than face-to-face conversations
4. Speaking approximately 3 times a week counts as an outstanding week
5. The little breaks throughout college make you appreciate your friendships with home friends
6. They miss out on experiencing the class breakdowns with you that occur on a weekly basis
7. It's like living in two different worlds with two different groups of friends
8. Home friends try to mingle with your school friends on social media to try and be as much a part of your life as they are use to
9. School friends are missed over the short week breaks, while home friends are missed throughout the whole school year
10. Home friends are home friends and school friends are school friends, but at the end of the day we cherish all friendships
