Dear all of my college friends,
To be honest, I can't write a letter to just one college friend since that would not be fair to all of my other friends. I have to a lot of friends that I would love to thank so this letter will be one of those generalized letters; however, I think all of my friends will like it! I hope they do.
Thank you guys for letting me be me. Thank you for loving me for who I am. I know it can be rough sometimes, thank you for staying.
I am so glad that you guys do not mind that I rock and I talk your ears off about certain topics. It can be a lot to deal with, but many of you all let me rock or allow me to be in my head. Making sure I am going to be fine when I get in my stress modes.
Thanks for checking up on me, making sure I am okay when you know I am not, and giving me advice when I need it.
You guys know what to say and when not to give me any advice. You allowed me to come to you guys when I need someone to reassure me that everything will be fine. Telling me honestly what I need to hear even if I do not want to hear it and that is mostly dealing with one topic. Saying I should have more confidence about myself and keep doing me as I am pretty cool.
Thanks for answering all of my questions even if I know what the answers or even just saying you know the answer.
I know, I ask a lot of questions that I know the answer too. You guys are the real MVPs with that as I think sometimes it annoys you to answer the same questions over and over again. Most of the time, you guys answer them without questioning and I am forever grateful for that.
Thanks for going our crazy car adventures and to all of our random road trips!
Some of the best memories, I can recall are in a car with some of my best friends going anywhere or even, just driving when we are all stress out. I drove to Bowling Green State University and I ended up in Michigan with one of my best friends so we could go bowling. Another time, this was my freshmen year at Vincennes University, I went to Kentucky just because. College is the time to just drive for fun on the weekends or when you are not busy. So thanks, to the friends who love to road trip with me.
Thanks for making sure I am not giving up on my dreams of becoming a teacher since I can be hard on myself and making sure that I am not doubting myself.
I do that a lot more than I realize; however if I did not have any of you, I might have given up while I was at school. Making sure I stay on top of schoolwork when I did want too. Realizing that I needed others to make sure I was not stressing out and not overload with work. Always taking breaks when I needed too.
Thank you guys for always being here for me and being you! All of your crazy, funny, fun, and loving people that I grew to love! Never change!
What else can I say, you guys are the ones who bring out the potential in me. I hope I do the same for you. You are always there for me, even when I am having a bad day and understanding that I need space sometimes. I love each one of you so dearly! You guys bring something new to me out of my friends, and I am forever grateful for the friendships I have grown to have. All of you, stay awesome!!!!
