Thank you could not be said enough for everything you have done for me. Little did I know I was going to meet someone who would have such a huge influence on my life. It was all of the little things that added up into the big picture. It was the endless late night talks that lasted until the sun came up, all of the times we had spontaneous adventures, and the several times you were there for my through the heart breaks and the good news that came along. You have had so much patience with me and listened to me when I felt so alone. You put off that homework assignment or paper you needed to type so that you could be there and comfort me when I needed someone. Thank you for all the times you were there for me when life felt off course.
Sometimes I wonder if you know how much you mean to me, for I promise that you are what I am going to remember most about my college experience. Every semester that ends I get more memories with you, but also the fear that I know one day you won't be a walk across campus, a floor down, or across the hall from me anymore. Life without you by my side every single day is going to be hard, I can't lie. I take advantage of all the times we get to spend together and don't realize how much of a good thing it is that we have.
I hope you know that you always managed to make me laugh when I can't even smile. I remember all of times I was short with you when I was having a rough day and I'm sorry for that. I know now that no one else would deal with me the way you have. Thank you for being someone I could always come to. You adjust your schedule to see me. But most of all, thank you for always forgiving me when I was being sassy and taking it out on you. You never deserved that.
I know we were suppose to meet for a reason. You have become my family away from home. I can truly be myself around you and, when we basically spend every day together, you have seen me and my best and worse. You still loved me through it all and I plan on making sure to return the favor.
Thank you for being you. I wonder if you know how great you truly are. It's amazing to think that we live hours apart and ended up on this one campus to have such a huge impact on each others lives. I can't picture my life without you. I wouldn't want anyone else to share my college years with. You are one of the most brilliant, funny, hardworking, and caring people I ever met. I truly hope you know that I love you, best friend. College can get tough, but with you by my side through it all, you manage to remind me to enjoy the ride before we get to that final destination.
