"The Amanda Show" was one of the classic shows that everyone watched while growing up. From dancing lobsters, to Amanda, Please!, this Nickelodeon show made you laugh till the ends of time with Amanda's wacky and crazy skits. Little did I know when I was a kid watching "The Amanda Show" that some of the best moments from the show could still be relevant to my life as a college student attending the University of Nevada, Reno. And with that, we will be back in a minute to do stuff!

Students correct UNR to Nevada.

Is it UNR or Nevada? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? The world may never know...

You people watch in the quad

Don't lie, we have all done it. And probably posted a Yak or two about it as well. Shout out to the guy that always brings his hammock to the Quad. You know exactly how to college.

When the DC brings the "good food" out when Nevada tours are going on.

There is construction everywhere on campus.

UNR? No, UNC: University of Nevada, Construction.

When the school reminds you that tuition and fees are due.

I'm sorry, I can't hear you over my tears.

When you don't get put on the wait list for a class.

Thank you college gods.

But the only time your lab is offered is at 8 am.

I take it back college gods.

Webcampus is always down

Conveniently when you are trying to turn in a midnight assignment in at 11:59.

UNR's Yik Yak summed up in one photo

Especially the late night yaks.

11/10 times, class will not be canceled on snow days.

And then I have to take my skis or sled just to get to class. Awesome.

UNR vs. UNLV is consistently a hot debate

The rivalry is all too real.

You never gained the freshmen 15 because your school is filled with stairs and hills.

Well, on the bright side, you will have buns of steel.

We have three Mascots, not just one

No, not the dancing lobsters, we have Luna, Wolfie Jr., and Alphie of the Wolf Pack. But I'd be okay with dancing lobsters, too.

You call it home.

Class dismissed, bring in the dancing lobsters.
