College is said to be the best years of someone's life. It's the years when you truly find yourself. You create unforgettable memories. You learn some lessons the hard way, but sometimes making mistakes are necessary to find the right path for you. There are a few uncanny things many college students can agree upon.

1. Loans

Tuition, $10,000. Books, $600. Room and board, $9000. Air, $1750. Toilet Paper, $900.

Sign the dotted line and pay it back later... just be in debt for the rest of your life.

2. 8 A.M.s

Getting up for morning classes becomes a new struggle. How did we go to school at 7:30 A.M. in high school?

3. Gen-Ed Classes


Does anyone else even care about this class? What does this have to do with my major?

4. Group Projects

The two words that spark dread in any class. Who doesn't look forward to pulling the weight of the group and letting everyone take equal credit?

5. Staying Positive

We all remember those semesters that tear us up, but you try to keep a good attitude.

6. Doing well on an exam

What better excuse to celebrate?

7. Pulling an all-nighter

Getting no sleep gives you more time to study. That helps concentration and sanity... right? Coffee has never been a better friend.

8. Exam week

The week of the semester that tests your true strength. The thought, "why didn't I study more during the semester," often crosses your mind.

9. Finishing the semester

Your survived! Freedom... At least for a couple months. After all, there is no end to homework and studying till the semester is over.

10. Waiting for your grades

The anticipation, and calculating, and recalculating what you think you earned that semester.

11. Saying goodbye to your friends at the end of the semester

Going to college is meeting new people from various places. Leaving for break, is sometimes saying goodbye until the next semester.

12. Graduation

Finally making it to the finish line... as much as you might have doubted yourself along the way.

13. Friends that last a lifetime

They've seen you at your best and your worst. They've held back your hair on rough nights. They know too much about you to ever let them go. You created some of your best memories with them.
