College is totally awesome.

There's so much to do and so many avenues you can take and so many things to explore. It's kind of like the opportunities that Hogwarts provided to Harry Potter and his pals. Honestly, I'd go to Hogwarts, but let's be real, they don't accept FAFSA.

The theater group Starkid, which was started in 2009 at the University of Michigan, started doing various fan-written parodies. They're probably best known for "A Very Potter Musical" (AVPM), "A Very Potter Sequel" (AVPS), and "A Very Potter Senior Year" (AVPSY).

I feel like these three particular works describe college pretty well.

When you meet that perfect group of friends.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?"

"In a cupboard under some stairs"

When you're feeling flipping fabulous.

When you think the dorms are like this:

But they're really not.

When you look presentable for any situation and you're not in sweats.

Look at me. I can clean up nicely.

When you have to answer a question in class.

"Hufflepuffs are particularly good finders."

"What the HELL is a HUFFLEPUFF?"

And when you don't get that answer quite right.

I guess you didn't find the right answer.

When you question what's going on (in class, in life, in friendships...)

When you get that assignment where you're just like "nope."

When you play another team in intramurals.

But then you sports too hard.

When you walk in or stumble upon something... questionable.

"What the devil is going on heeeeeeeeerrrrrrreeee?"

When someone says something against you or your friend group.

EXCUSE YOU.

When you're having a bad day and you just don't want to do anything or talk to anyone.

When you're so overtired and overworked that the smallest action is, well, amazing.

AH, AH GUYS LOOK I CAN FUNCTION.

When you and the squad are trying to figure out what to do when you go out.

When your friends see your crush and give you the not-so-stuble signal that they've spotted them.

Aye, go get'em.

When your friends try to stop you from doing something stupid.

When you get your heart broken or you're crushing TOO hard.

"I can't get her out of my head and every time I look at her I have these pains in my chest and I just know it her fault..."

When your university is playing another university in sports-ball and you brag about how good the team is.

"There's no way we're losing to Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or even Jigglypuff."

When you start freaking out about plans after college.

How did I come to this?

When you let your friends know how much they really mean to you and you probably wouldn't have made it through college without them.

"I love you man."
