The stars know me better than I know myself.

9 Times Co-Star Gave Unmatched Advice

Co-Star is a relatively knew app for astrology lovers to get a clearer reading of their full birth charts. With only your birth- day, location, and time, you can see your full birth chart, and the app will explain how the planets interact with your signs.

One of my favorite features of the app is the notifications. Every day, you can get short "horoscope-like" advice specifically for your birth chart. Some of the advice this app has given me has been scary-good. It's as if it knows exactly what is going on in my life and what I need to hear. Here are a few of those times...

How about you don't expect to be understood today?

During a time where I felt like no one could know how I felt, Co-Star reassured me that that is to be expected sometimes.

You don't have to be afraid of opinions that threaten your way.

Politically speaking, there are many people in my life who think drastically different from me, and sometimes it is easy to forget that it's okay for people to have different opinions from you. In fact, it welcomes free thought and discussion, which is usually needed.

Save your money today.

After days of retail-therapy, Co-Star hit me with the hard advice.

You are here, breathing, and that's everything.

This one hit me especially hard. Sometimes it is easy to feel like everything is building up and building up until it feels like it is impossible to get anything done.

It is good to be reminded that just existing and breathing can be the most important thing.

Try not to apologize for your existence.

A good reminder to unapologetically live the life you want.

Try not to look for approval today.

Again, it is good to be reminded that I can live without the constant need for approval from others.

Feel everything.

As a Cancer, I am very emotionally charged. But many other people will see this as a negative thing. It was great to hear that I have permission to feel as intensely as I do.

Trust your instincts.

Again, this advice was just very self-assuring that I know what I'm doing, and I can trust myself.

You can be daring without being careless.

Two of my predominant qualities are being organized and being cautious. This was a great reminder that stepping out of my comfort zone won't compromise my identity.

I would highly, highly recommend Co-Star for astrology lovers, those who would like to know more about astrology, or anyone who needs great, personalized, daily advice.

As someone who turns off practically all notifications on my phone, the daily advice from Co-Star is something I don't know how I lived without. To self-reflect on a short snippet of advice for just seconds of your day can be life changing, and it is a great way to be more intentional with your own thoughts and actions.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
