When you are so close to graduating you realize it has been a crazy ride, full of both laughter and sadness. Some things aren’t as easy as you had imagined them to be. You're “sure” path has now become the “iffy” path that might determine the rest of your future.
You come to the conclusion that you probably won’t see most of your college friends or classmates after graduation unless they live close to you. You are faced with the same question over and over again “What are your plans after graduation?” and even if you are as confused as ever you simply answer them. However, not all is bad when it comes to graduation.
Those sleepless nights of writing papers for your undergraduate career are now long gone and you will never have to go through that experience again. Sure, you will still do coursework if you plan to continue studying but it will be to further the education you have already earned and no one can ever take from you.
You will get to be home even if it's just for a week or two and you will know you left your hometown and were able to achieve something great. It will be bittersweet to return but mostly sweet. In those past four years there will have been new buildings, small business and new people in the town you left. You will realize everything grows extremely fast you like you did those past four years.
Your family, significant other and friends have been with you along the whole journey and you will now more than ever feel as if it was all worth it. When graduating you will [prove to them that all their nice and encouraging words motivated you to accomplish something that once seemed impossible.
By now it is nearly almost impossible to count how many time you have felt like giving up. You remember all the times you asked yourself if it was worth it and why you were doing it. But you soon realize that the journey was worth it, every sleepless night and gloomy morning. Ever all-nighter used to pass am exam. Graduation day will remind you that it was all worth it and it is not the end yet, you will have a lot more to accomplish.
