Being confined to the same household our whole lives with our three brothers made my sister and my existence too familiar to get along well. It took until I left for college for my sister and I to realize we are actually the same person. Being so close after being away for a while has made me realize several things. Here are ten things that describe a close relationship with your sister as told by "Breaking Bad."
1. You can be as weird as you want and she won't judge you a bit because she's equally as weird.
2. We sing the same songs at the same time.
3. We give each other a specific look for a specific word.
4. You both get frustrated when your parents don't cooperate.
5. You tell her ridiculous college stories.
6. We mess with our brothers because it's fun.
7. You realize she effectively contributes to conversations.
8. You let her in on your plans.
9. We understand each other even when we sit in silence.
10. You cover for each other.
If coming home from college has taught me anything, it would be to value this new found appreciation and connection with my whole family, but most importantly, with the sidekick I've had my whole life: my sister.
