Clinical is a 2017 Netflixoriginal horror film; it is a film with a shocking twist at the end that is not predictable, which I wasn’t so pleased about.
The movie is crazy good! Clinical dives into patients that has had experiences with trauma. Such as how trauma effects our mental state. I like the fact how the filmmakers dived into how our mental stability is effected in our daily lives. From how we interact with our partner, family members, coworkers, etc...
Anything we do in our lives can affect our mental mind set in a negative way or positive way. Also, I like the fact that the filmmakers didn’t shy away from how rape and molestation affects a victim; rape and molestation are similar to murder. Rape and molestation murders your soul; it murders a part of you that probably won’t come back.
I won’t spoil much for you all, but I’ll give you a brief summary of Clinical. Clinical is directed by Alistair Legrand and starred by Vinessa Shaw and Kevin Rahm. In this film, a psychiatrist is trying to put her life together and skeletons back in her closet after a violent attack by one of her own patients.
I find it questionable in the film the psychiatrist is trying to put her life back together, but she needs help as well. How can you improve someone’s life when you’re having trouble within your own life? But we all know someone that is like this in our lives! We all have had many problems in our lifetime, so we forget our own troubles, and try to help others out in their lives.
Overall, this film was crazy good. Clinical is the mystery of the mind. It can be a mystery in a stable mind or troubled mind.
