We all have that one favorite movie that we could sit and watch repeatedly. Whether it is a classic or a new release, or if it is Disney or a Romantic Comedy, a classic movie will forever be our favorites. I really don't have a classic favorite, but I grew up in the 90's so all the animated Disney movies are my favorite.
I am on the fence about Disney remaking all the original Disney movies into live action ones. To me, a classic movie shouldn't change because it brings light to the people who grew up in that time. I feel that the Hollywood industry is just trying to keep Disney alive, giving actors and actresses jobs, and keeping Disney afloat with new ideas.
Classic movies should stay the same because it gives us a reason to honor and remember great actors and actresses of past time. I think it is a cool idea that they can turn an animated movie into a live action one. It truly lets us see what the industry can do and shows how much it has changed over the years.
I mean, have you ever watched a Disney movie over and over and loved it so much that, back in the days when we still had VCRs, you broke the tape from watching it too much and your parents had to buy you a new video?
Everything is either in competition with other things or they are in the hurt and they need to make money with new and bigger ideas. I believe that's how our society is run today. If something is good, why change it?
I love Disney movies both old and new, but by far, the classic 90's or older Disney movies are my favorite. And, it's always a good surprise when Facebook has the time frame of when they come out because it's cool and shocking to see when they came out and helps me realize how old I am.
