This past Sunday, the 2017 Billboard Music Awards were held. Did I watch it? No. But did I watch clips of highly acclaimed K-Pop boy group, BTS, accept their award for Top Social Artist and offer some well needed and deserved representation for Asian people in Western media? Heck yeah, I did. However, my sweet baby angels did not accept the award too easily. After their win, they were criticized by many people on social media for winning an award at an American award show, often being dismissed as "these Asians". But BTS fans were quick to clap back.
