Cincinnati, Ohio is a pretty interesting city. They literally have everything: violence, drugs, and sight-seeing. Living there, there aren't much of any positive things, except for the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Walking down the street, one would be intrigued by the many restaurants that are on Fountain Square, where the fountain resides. Cincinnati is known for many things but for people who are from out of state tend to have negative thoughts about my city, here are some positive things about Cincinnati.
The most positive thing about Cincinnati is all the attractions, there are many places where one could go if they want to have a good time. In Cincinnati, there are many communities that have different things, such as Over-the-Rhine and Clifton. Natives would tell people, even though at times the place can be dangerous at a certain time but during the day those places are actually really fun. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping centers.
One of the best things about Cincinnati is the food! We have our very own pizza and our very own chili. LaRosa's pizza is the best pizza that most people have ever tasted. Even when Cincinnati natives move to another state they often crave it. Skyline and Gold Star Chili are Cincinnati favorites. People in Cincinnati either like Gold Star or Skyline, they never like both. As for my family, we are Skyline people, we used to be Gold Star people but I ended up working for Skyline years ago so my family grew accustomed to it.
Cincinnati as a whole is a beautiful city, especially at night. If one needed to free their mind, the first place to go to is the river. On the river, there are many swing sets, a trail, and even a park where you can play no matter the age. Cincinnati may have its ups and downs but it's okay! It wouldn't be a good city if it didn't have any of that. In college, there are battles about which city is the best and every time that happens, I always rep Cincinnati. Most millennials call Cincinnati, "The Nasty Nati". I never heard it until I got older and I was told that all started back in the 90's. Even though that phrase is probably the worst phrase I heard when it comes to a city, it's okay! I will continue represent the 513 City for as long as I live.
