You hear it all the time about how Christmas is typically people’s favorite holiday. Here are 22 reasons as to why.

1. For college kids, we finally get a break of no homework during Christmas time

2. Really good food

3. It's a good excuse to watch really cheesy Hallmark movies

4. Christmas is an even better excuse to never leave your couch or bed

5. All the pretty lights everywhere

6. Tacky Christmas sweaters

7. Awkward but always amazing family time

8. JESUS

9. Micheal Buble can sing all the Christmas songs to your heart’s content

10. Season of being ridiculously generous

11. Cold weather (for all those who enjoy it, like me, a lot better than the heat)

12. Breakfast casserole Christmas morning

13. The presents (come on you had to see that coming)

14. Friends come home for the holidays

15. All those Christmas cookies

16. Time to actually binge watch TV series or movies you have planned on watching

17. Santa Clause comes to town

18. Everyone seems to be in pretty great spirits

19. Hot chocolate

20. Christmas pajamas

21. Getting to decorate a fake plastic tree with homemade ornaments

22. The lucky few actually get snow!

But let’s not forget though the songs do say, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!”
