25 Christmas Movies To Watch If You Are One To Start Celebrating Christmas in November

Growing up, I would always watch Hallmark movies with my family. Some throughout the year, but mainly, we watched the Christmas movies during the winter months. It's tradition. I fell in love with Hallmark movies. I'm one of those people that start watching Hallmark Christmas movies in November, and if you are like me, then here are 25 Hallmarks movies to watch if you're that starts celebrating Christmas in November.

1. A Royal Christmas (2014)

TC Television

https://www.instagram.com/tctelevision/

I'm going to kick off this list with a Hallmark Christmas Classic. The movie is about Emily Taylor who is a seamstress who is devoted to her family's business located in Philadelphia. Emily is in love with Leo James, her boyfriend from Europe. As Christmas approaches, Leo reveals that he is Leopold, who is the heir to the throne of a small country called Cordinia. Emily goes to Cordinia for the Christmas holidays, and introduces her to his mother, the queen who disapproves of her. The movie follows Emily trying to adapt to her royal surroundings, and the relationship between Emily and Leo along with Emily and his mother.

I just watched this movie just this past week and liked it.

2. Snowglobe (2007)

Molly Mae/ABC

https://www.instagram.com/molly_mae_vlogs/

This movie is one of my favorites. I watch this one every year. The movie follows Angela who loves Christmas, but her family doesn't share the same love that she does. Angela receives a snow globe in the mail, and when she opens it up, she is transported to the town inside the snow globe. The town is in a Christmas world of their own. She can return to her world by going down a small path in the small forest at the edge of the village, and can enter the snow globe every time she winds it up. Douglas, who is from the snow globe, comes to the real world, and Angela hides the fact that he is from the snow globe. Later on, Marie, who is also from the snow globe enters the real world. When she tries to send them back, she gets trapped in the snow globe, and the snow globe breaks.

Will she get out? Will Marie and Douglas get back to their home? Will her family start to love Christmas? You have to watch it to find out. I suggest this movie.

3. A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)

Charlie Brown Christmas Live

https://www.instagram.com/charliebrownchristmaslive/

Another tradition that me and my family have is watching Charlie Brown on Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. So, I suggest also checking out the Thanksgiving one as well since Thanksgiving is coming up in the next couple weeks.

In this movie, the Peanuts celebrate the start of the winter season. Charlie Brown tells Linus that despite all the Christmas traditions that they take part of, he is still depressed, but he doesn't know why. His depression gets worse throughout the entire movie. For the play, Charlie Brown picks the only real tree but is scorned by Lucy for disobeying her instructions and mocked by the other girls. Charlie Brown questions them about the true meaning of Christmas, and only Linus answers what Christmas is truly about. Charlie Brown leaves and is determined to not let commercialism ruin the holiday. Linus and the others eventually realize they were too hard on Charlie Brown.

4. The Polar Express (2004)

Kevin gets unexpected help from people that he did not expect.

My favorites are the first two. Sorry to the last two, but I'm a little biased.

One of my favorite movies, and it's a good movie that can be watched during Halloween and Christmas. So, we get to enjoy this movie for two full months.

Emily, at first, doesn't like Amber but eventually warms up to her after Amber treats her like a normal child instead of pitying her since she has spina bifida. Amber also meets their cousin Simon who is next in line for the throne after Richard. Him and Lady Sofia are after the throne and work to expose them to get one step closer to the crone.

11. How The Grinch Stole Christmas

Justice League: Unite Heros

https://www.instagram.com/qgxyreverse98/

Both the life action and animated versions are great. Love them both. I suggest watching both of them.

The Grinch is bitter and grouchy that lives in a cave in Mount Crumpit near the town of Whoville. The Grinch hates Christmas due to past events, but the people of Whoville love Christmas. The Grinch decides to steal their presents, trees, and food for their Christmas Feast. The Grinch, after doing all of this, he is confused to hear the people down in the town singing a Christmas song. His heart later grows three sizes, and he brings everything back to the town where he joins the people to celebrate the town.

12. The Santa Clause Series (1994)

Revmov

https://www.instagram.com/revmov/

I'm embarrassed, but for some time, I thought Santa Clause was actually how you spelled his name! It took me a little bit of time to realize that it wasn't how you spelled it. That it was a clause meaning a certain part of a treaty, bill, or contract. Please don't judge me. I was young when this happened, and I wasn't the greatest at spelling. I am so much better now at spelling.

The first movie follows Scott Calvin as he becomes Santa Claus, and learning about the world of the North Pole on top of his custody battle with his ex-wife over their son, Charlie. At first, Scott Calvin doesn't want to be Santa, but eventually, wants to be and takes on the role.

13. The Santa Clause 2 (2002)

Lauren Hoyles

https://www.instagram.com/laurenhoyles/

Scott Calvin and the elves are back at it again, and it's been eight years of Christmas Bliss. But, in this movie, Scott finds out about another clause which states that he has to find a Mrs. Claus by Christmas Eve which is only month away or he will stop being Santa Claus forever. On top of that, him and his ex-wife Laura have to deal with Charlie who is acting out, and ended up on the naughty list. Scott does end up finding a wife just in the nick of time, and becomes Santa once again on top of helping Charlie stop doing a downward spiral and defeating the toy Santa.

14. The Santa Clause 3 (2006)

Plush n Stuf

https://www.instagram.com/plushnstuf/

Scott Calvin invites his in-laws up to the north pole along with Laura, Neil and their daughter Lucy join them on this adventure. Scott and his family have the north pole become Canada to fool his in-laws to protect the secret of Santa. On top of pleasing his wife and in-laws as well as a baby that is due at any moment, Scott also has to face Jack Frost whose behavior was brought to his attention via the Council of Legendary Figures. Jack Frost is jealous since he does not have a holiday or special occasion to himself. Scott has to deal with Jack Frost as he tries to 'redeem' himself but is only there to cause trouble and take the Santa position for himself.

15. Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer (1964)

Jenny Ambler

https://www.instagram.com/jennyambler71/

The movie starts with Donner and his wife give birth to a new baby fawn named Rudolph. They were surprised to find out what his nose glows red. Santa warns Donner that Rudolph won't make the sleigh team due to his red nose. Donner than hides his red nose so he can make the team, and he can fit in with the other reindeer. A year later, Rudolph goes out to play games with fellow reindeer where they find out about his red nose. They make fun of his nose. Him and an elf named Hermey who wants to be a dentist, run away from the north pole where they meet the Abominable Snow Monster.

They crash land on the Island of Misfit Toys were unloved toys live until the king can find homes to where people will love them. Later, Rudolph grows up as a young stage, and later returns to his home. Rudolph later saves them and Clarice from the Abominable Snow Monster with the help of Hermey and Yukon. Later, Santa promises Rudolph that he'll find homes for the Misfit Toys, and Hermey opens his own dentist office. Later, Abominable Snow Monster becomes a tree decorator. Everyone comes together, and Rudolph is later needed on Christmas night as Santa Rides.

16. Rudolph's Shiny New Year (1979)

Seymour Snott

https://www.instagram.com/supersnott1/

Probably my favorite one out of the Rudolph series.

A year later after the past one, Santa receives a letter from Father Time asking for help to findy Happy who is the baby New Year. If they don't find him before midnight on New Year's Eve, then it will become December 31st forever. Rudolph is needed once again. As he searches the Archipelago of Last Years for the baby new year, he befriends a few people who help him find Happy. On top of trying to find the baby new year, they have to face the vulture called Eon the Terrible who has the lifespan of one Eon which is due on December 31st. After midnight, he will turn into ice and snow, and disintegrate. He plans on capturing Happy so that way he can live forever.

17. Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July (1979)

Years later, Winterbolt an evil ice wizard reigns over the North Pole. The Queen of the Northern Lights, ends Winterbolt's tyranny by sending him into a deep sleep, but she is weakened because of it. During the summer, Frosty the Snowman and his family visit Rudolph along with his kids and wife. Winterbolt faces off with them and Rudolph throughout the rest of the movie.

18. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys (2001)

Bosnich Amigurumi

https://www.instagram.com/bosnichamigurumi/

One of my favorites. I always wanted to go to the Island of Misfit Toys when I was younger.

In this one, Rudolph isn't satisfied with being a novelty act performing tricks with his nose. So, he decides to travel with Hermey to the Island of Misfit Toys. As they are travelling, a storm sends them to Castaway Cove where Rudolph considers having his nose made more normal looking. Clarice would not like it if he would get rid of it. While Rudolph decides whether he wants to keep is nose or change it, they have to face the Toy Taker who has been has been going around the island taking toys.

19. Frosty, The Snowman (1969)

Pagero

https://www.instagram.com/gestionepagero/

Frosty, The Snowman. What a classic. I love this one.

On Christmas Eve, Professor Hinkle who is a magician, comes to a classroom to entertain the children for their Christmas party. He fails his trick, and throws the hat away in frustration. The children later get the hat, and put it on the snowman that they just had made after school. They name him Frosty, and he comes to life after the hat is placed on his head. The kids make it a mission to take Frosty to the North Pole. Professor Hinkle tried the entire way to take the hat back after seeing what the hat can do.

20. Frosty Return (1992)

Pam's Fizzy Factory

In this one, a new product appears in Beansboro that successfully cause snow to instantly disappear. Of course, Frosty doesn't want it as he is made of snow. The town loves Summer Wheeze. Later at the carnival, Frosty and Holly persuade the townspeople not use the product, and he becomes king of the carnival.

21. A Year Without A Santa Claus (1974)

Jose Mazariegos Barrios

https://www.instagram.com/josemazariegos84/

This has to be one of my favorite Christmas Classics of all time.

Santa Claus is dealing with a cold, and his doctor, makes the matters worse by telling him that he thinks that no one cares about him anymore. The doctor advises him to stay home this year instead of going out on Christmas Eve. Mrs. Claus tries to convince him that the doctor is wrong, but she is unsuccessful. So, to prove that people actually care about Santa, she sends Jingle and Jangle down to South Town to find that there is proof that they believe in Santa. On top of finding Christmas cheer, they have to get Vixen out of the pound, get the major on their side, and deal with the Miser Brothers that don't get along what-so-ever.

22. Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town

HueHue

https://www.instagram.com/huehuegalletas/

This is my other favorite Christmas classic that I love!

S.D. Kluger tells the story of Kris Kringle, and how he became Santa Claus. The story starts off with Kris being a baby ending up on the Burgermeister Meisterburger's door step who sends him to the orphanage. On the way there, during a windy storm, a gust of wind takes the baby away. Animals take him to an Elvish family, the Kringles where they give him the name Kris Kringle. He grows up, and they teach him everything they know from math, writing, the stars, and toy making. When Kris is older, he takes the toys to Sombertown, but the Burgermeister has banned all the toys before he got there. Kris Kringle finds different ways to get the toys to the children.

For example, going down the fire place once the Burgermeister orders for all doors to be locked, and hiding the toys in the stockings after the Burgermeister orders for every house to be searched. He meets a teacher in Sombertown on his first visit there, and she later becomes Mrs. Claus. After breaking out of jail, they become outlaws, and take refuge up north where they build his workshop and toy factory. He changed his name to Santa Claus. Eventually, he stopped being an outlaw, and they began to love Santa Claus.

23. The Little Drummer Boy (1968)

Mmaqomm

https://www.instagram.com/mmaqomm/

While the song is good, the movie is just as good.

The narrator tells a story about a young Jewish and orphan boy named Aaron. The only thing he enjoys is playing drum. Aaron is forced to join Ben Haramed's caravan with inept performers. Aaron tried to perform for the Magi, but they were uninterested as they were on their way to the star's destination. Aaron later escapes, and joins the Magi as they are travelling to Bethlehem. When they arrive, Baba a lamb is healed, and Aaron finally feels kindness for the first time since his parent's died.

24. The Christmas Carol (2009)

Reneubook

https://www.instagram.com/mmaqomm/

One of my favorites as we follow Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas Eve in 1843. Scrooge does not like Christmas, and he declines to have dinner with his nephew. Later that night, Scrooge is visited by three spirits; the Ghost of Christmas Past who takes him back in time to his early life when he was at boarding school, the ghost of Christmas Present who shows him the joys of Christmas and they visit Bob's house where he learns that Tiny Time will not survive until next Christmas, and lastly, the ghost of Christmas Yet to Come who takes him to the future where Tiny Tim has died as well as Scrooge and shows him what waits for him after death. Scrooge wakes up in his room on Christmas a changed man, filled with joy and happiness in his heart. Scrooge gives Bob's family a turkey dinner, and spreads happiness throughout the town. He later attends his nephews Christmas dinner. Scrooge also gives a raise to Chitchat, and becomes a second father to Tiny Tim who escapes death.

25. Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (2000)

And to end our list, is this great movie. I watch this movie every year.

Jake Spankenheimer and his family owns a small general store in the town of Cityville. Austin Bucks, the wealthiest man in town, is the CEO of a corporation that specializes in making Christmas easier. The Spankenheimer's store is the only piece property that Austin Bucks does not own. Out of the family, Jake and his grandmother are the most excited about the Christmas season. Every year, Grandma makes her famous fruitcake, but this year, cousin Mel sabotages it. She secretly adds an ingredient with hopes it won't sell so Grandma has to sell the store to Austin because there is something in it for Mel.

Instead, Grandma gets hit by Santa's reindeer, and Jake witnesses the accident, but his family doesn't believe him. Nine months pass and Grandma is still missing and the store's business drops. Cousin Mel comes up with a new plan to sell the store by tricking Grandpa into giving her his power of attorney. Jake later contacts Santa and finds Grandma up at the North Pole with no memory of who she is. She comes back to town, but Cousin Mel has another trick up her sleeve and hides her in a cabin. Jake later finds Grandma a second time, and she gets her memories back. When confronted with evidence at the courthouse during the case against Santa Clause, Cousin Mel is forced to confess everything she did. Cousin Mel is arrested, and everything goes back to the way it is.

There are way more Christmas movies that I could list, but I'm going to stick with these twenty-five. These are some of my favorite movies, and you bet I will be watching them all. But remember, even though Christmas movies are great, and the season is coming up, we still got Thanksgiving. I can't wait to celebrate what I'm thankful for, eat a bunch of food, watch football and the parade, and spend time with my family and friends.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
