Christmas Morning When I Was a Kid

4:00AM - You wake up to see if the stockings are full

4:30AM - You attempt to opening your stocking quietly

4:32AM - You put everything back so no one will notice

4:35AM - Mom wakes up and tells you to go back to bed

4:40AM - You try to go back to bed

4:45AM - You look for ways to entertain yourself until everyone else wakes up

7:00AM - After hearing you wander around for an hour, your parents finally give up and let you open your stocking

8:00AM - A pancake breakfast with parents and sister

9:00AM - You read, play the piano, whatever you can to entertain yourself

10:00AM - You complain about your grandparents and uncle being late

11:00AM - Your grandparents and uncle show up late and you open presents

Christmas Morning Now

9:00AM - Your sister tries to wake you up

9:01AM - You turn over and go back to bed

9:30AM - You finally drag yourself out of bed to open the stockings

10:00AM - You watch Netflix until everyone arrives

11:00AM - Your grandparents and uncle show up late and you open presents

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
