Not sure what to get your daughter, sister, friend or girlfriend for Christmas? Here's a little insight to what we all love!

1. Fuzzy socks

We are always happy about fuzzy socks.

2. Oversized sweatshirts

It's an essential to the typical college attire.

3. Leggings

They are so easy to dress up or dress down!

4. Boots

They go with our leggings, of course.

5. Caffeine Starter Pack

Keurig/coffee pot, coffee, creamer, and sugar. We all need the caffeine!

6. Money

For food or maybe for shopping with friends.

7. Gift Cards

To anywhere. Restaurants, stores, or coffee shops.

8. Scarves

Super cute and we stay warm while walking to class.

9. Cute Sweaters/Cardigans

You don't want us to always look like a bum, right? These can be a casually everyday wearable thing or we can dress it up.

10. Jewelry

Earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces. The new thing is the hair tie bracelet! And we all like anything Pandora, Ani and Alex, and Origami Owl.

11. Makeup

You can never go wrong with makeup. Sephora, Ulta, Mac, Kylie, Urban Decay, Colour Pop, Anastasia Beverly Hills, or NYX.

12. Stickers

Not just any stickers, more like vinyl stickers that we put everywhere. Things that describe us. Monograms, coffee lovers, science related, sports teams. We like to put them on our laptops, water bottles and other places. Redbubble.com has a pretty good selection.

13. Blankets

Tie blankets or just fuzzy blankets you find at dollar tree, we'll take them all.

14. Homemade items

Hand painted canvases, key holders, and hand warmers. Things from the heart.

15. Bath Bombs

Or bubble bars from Lush. You can never have too many bath bombs.

16. Monograms and more monograms

This ones pretty self explanatory. You can monogram pretty much anything these days.

17. Fragrance Sets

Whether it's from Bath and Body Works, Target, or Walmart, girls all love the body wash, body spray, and lotion.

For the athletic/ gym goers

1. Athletic Shorts

You already know the ones. Every girl has a pair.

2. Yoga Kit

Yoga mat, yoga block, yoga strap, and a DVD. PERFECT!

3. Trendy Water Bottles

We can never have too many. You want us to stay hydrated, right?

4. Yoga Pants

Capri, full length, bootcut, skinny leg, drawstring. We not gonna complain. We love them all.

5. Nike anything, really

6. Tennis Shoes

We all need new gym shoes every now and then.

7. Workout Mixtape

It's simple. Pick out some songs that are upbeat and burn it to a CD.

8. Beats/Headphones

Over the ear, in the ear. We love 'em all.

9. Tank Tops

No, not camisoles. More like gym tanks.

10. Foam roller

As odd as that sounds, we need them to roll out our muscles after a rough workout.

11. Sports Bras

Yes, we are aware we have 10 already, but they are a daily essential.

For The Typical Stressed College Student

1. Coloring Books

In our free time, we like to color.

2. Colored Pencils, Markers, or Crayons

But we may need some new coloring utensils.

3. Stress relief lotion

It smells amazing and gets rid of the stress.

4. Essential Oils

They can be used for any and everything!

5. Aromatherapy

Basically, an essential oil diffuser for our room.

6. Leaf

Bellabeat sells a bracelet/necklace called a LEAF that tracks sleep, activity, meditation and can be linked to our phones!

7. Massage

Whether it's a massage from you or a professional...we will love either one.

8. Chocolate

Or any candy really, but definitely chocolate.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
