As we get older, our wants (and needs) for Christmas gifts change quite a bit


THING WE WANT THE MOST:

Childhood: American girl doll, Nintendo DS, whatever that year's hot item was

College: Money, a sense of purpose


TIME WE WAKE UP:

Childhood: 6am. Bright and early!

College: "Can't I just sleep for 5 more minutes pleaseeeee?"


BIG SURPRISES:

Childhood : "I never would have guessed thank you so much!!!"

College: "I watched you buy this so I'm not really that shocked."


RECIEVING SOCKS/UNDERWEAR:

Childhood: "Dang it, I can't play with it"

College: "Yes! That's even longer I can go without doing laundry"


CHRISTMAS DINNER

Childhood: "Yay dinner!"

College: "Yay dinner! Also I'm taking leftovers back with me."


I guess some things never change.
