Chocolate candies. They come in many different forms and flavors, some with nuts and some without. We all have our favorites, our go-to candies. I definitely have my favorites, and there are some that are too close for ranking. However, I will attempt to rank my top 10 favorite chocolate candy bars.

1. Reese's

Coming in 1st place are Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. The combination of peanut butter and chocolate is probably my favorite combination. I don’t think I could ever get tired of this candy. It is sweet, with a little bit of salty from the peanut butter. They also come in minis, which are the perfect afternoon snack. Honestly, the decision for the first place candy was not a hard one.

2. 3 Musketeers

3 Musketeer Bars come in a close 2nd. I love the fluffy center of the candy. It is light and airy and makes the candy bar what it is. The surrounding chocolate tops off the candy nicely. These are the perfect melt-in-your-mouth candy.

3. Twix

Twix Bars take the cake for 3rd place. However, this candy is basically tied with the 3 Musketeers. I love the crunch of the cookie with the sweetness of the caramel. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. (I think I have to go out and get some now just thinking out it).

4. Snickers

The next candy on the list would have to be Snickers. The peanuts make this candy what it is. The nougat and caramel are a nice complement, along with the chocolate. This is the perfect candy for a little bit of sweet and a little bit of salt.

5. Milky Way Midnight

Milky Way Midnight Bars would be my next choice. I love dark chocolate and the center adds the sweetness that this candy needs. I haven’t had this candy as much as the others, but it is one of my favorites.

6. Milky Way

Milky Way Bars would be next. This is basically Snickers without the peanuts, but it’s perfect for those who are not big nut fans. It’s softer and chewier, but delicious. I could always go for a good Milky Way.

7. Rolo's

Rolos are my next favorite. This is just caramel and chocolate, but they’re a small candy this is easy to eat. Caramel and chocolate are also a favorite combination of mine. They are the perfect little snack.

8. M&M's

M&M’s are another favorite of mine. These little guys come in many different shapes and forms, such as original, mini, peanut, pretzel, and so much more. These pop in your mouth and are also very colorful. I think this candy is a favorite of everyone’s, so it makes sense that they’re a favorite of mine.

9. Baby Ruth

Baby Ruth Bars definitely make the top 10. It’s similar to some of the other candies mentioned, but it’s also different. It’s just a good candy to eat and has that sweetness that a chocolate candy should have. The nuts help to make the candy what it is, and adds that crunch that the candy needs.

10. Hershey's

Coming in at number 10, but certainly not a least favorite of mine, are Hershey Bars. This is basically just chocolate. But there’s something about Hershey Bars that is comforting. It’s a great candy that can be used for eating, baking, and smores bars.

I love chocolate candy bars. Honestly, I just like chocolate in general. What girl doesn’t? These are not the only candy bars I like, but these are my favorite. If you haven’t tried one of these, please do. You won’t regret it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
