Why Chick-fil-a is Better than Boys

Let’s be real ladies Chick-fil-a is the best. They have everything you could ever need from chicken nuggets to ice cream. So do not go trying to convince me that boys are better but instead let me help you down the right path that leads straight to Chick-fil-a.

Chick-fil-a is polite. Chick-fil-a is known for having the nicest employees. Form their smiles on their faces to “our pleasure” when you leave, Chick-fil-a will always be nice. Can you say that about your boys? If you locked your boyfriend and chicken sandwich in a hot garage, who would be nice to you when you opened the door. The sandwich would patiently wait for you come and pick it up instead of pushing you aside to leave the hot garage.

Chick-fil-a does not back down on what is important to them. Sure, Chick-fil-a has had come scandals but they know how to be true to themselves. They will not change their opinions for just anybody. They know what they believe in and are sticking to it. Yes, Chick-fil-a might want to change your views on issues but you might want to change their mind to so just agree to disagree and eat some delicious food.

Chick-fil-a has options. Chick-fil-a has a variety of things to eat. Well, your only option is chicken but according to the cows we all need to “eat mor chikin.” They all types of food for whatever time of day it is. They even make their own tea and lemonade. Could your boys even make lemonade from real lemons?

Chick-fil-a has a good breakfast. Chick-fil-a will make you a better breakfast then any boy ever could. Do you want to wake up to cereal or scrambled eggs? No, you want chicken minis and vanilla ice coffee.

Chick-fil-a has their own sauce. If a boy tells you he makes his own be cautious because you never know what that might mean. Chick-fil-a on the other hand has their own house sauce as well as five other sauce options to please all their customers.

Chick-fil-a cares about you and your body. Chick-fil-a has their regular food and their heathy options. We all love a good crispy chicken sandwich but if someone can make a killer grilled chicken sandwich or even grilled nuggets you need to hold on to them and keep them forever.

Chick-fil-a has respectable hours. Chick-fil-a is open 6am to 10pm Monday through Friday. I know that there are all times when we want those classic waffle fries but Chick-fil-a respects you and would not want to take advantage of you. They know that nothing good happens after 10pm and all your late night cravings should be done at home. Chick-fil-a although knows that mistakes are made and will forgive you for going to another fast food chain late at night.

Chick-fil-a is consistent. Yes Chick-fil-a is not open on Sunday but that is because they have their priorities straight. They know Sunday is the day to spend with family, relaxing, or just time to catch up on life. Sure, it may seem annoying that they are closed but that is just what makes Chick-fil-a all the better was waiting for the good things in life. You may think that boys are always available and would make them better but that is wrong. Boys become unavailable, especially unavailable, to what seem to be for no reason.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
