My 21st birthday is finally almost here, which has caused me to reflect on my 21 years. It's crazy that a day we think about and can't wait for is finally here so fast. Life really does go by so fast.

1. Treat people the way you want to be treated.

2. Never cry over a dumb boy.

3. Things will work out the way they're supposed to, with time.

4. Slow down and stop rushing things.

5. It's the little things in life that matter the most.

6. Dreams don't work unless you do.

7. Stand up for yourself and what you want.

8. You still need your mom and dad, no matter how old you get.

9. Straight vodka is never a good idea. Don't do it.

10. Always make time for yourself.

11. Be kind to people.

12. Step out of your comfort zone in order to grow and learn.

13. You will find your best friends when and where you least expect it.

14. It's okay to not have it all together.

15. Social media is not everything.

16. Your education is so important. Do not take it for granted.

17. Always try to save your money, instead of blowing it on online sales and late night Hungry Howie runs.

18. It is so important to learn to love yourself.

19. Be a positive person.

20. Learn to be independent and do things on your own.

21. You are enough.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
