Congrats you made it, well...almost. Senior year of college is so exciting and stressful. You're so close to being done, yet you still have two semesters worth of work left before you can really celebrate. You'll also start to get bombarded with conversations consisting of "so what's next?" and "enjoy this final year because the real world sucks" and other statements of that nature.
Yes, it is true next year will be completely different than the life you've known for the past four years. However, don't view senior year as a ticking time bomb that, when graduation comes, explodes and your life is over. Enjoy these final eight or nine months of going out every night and sharing a room with your best friend. Take complete advantage of everything your campus has to offer. Don't walk down the isle at graduation feeling like you missed out on anything. Fully absorb everything that comes with being in college. You've still got one more year without an overwhelming amount of responsibility, so reap all the benefits.
Don't be dreading the end of college. Graduating is such an exciting time because it means a million huge milestones are waiting for you. Here's another great thing about graduating, YOU choose what's next. You're a college graduate now, which kind of means you're an adult (I just ordered a Monster's University hat off Amazon, so I'm still kind of 12). You can decide to apply for every job opportunity that comes your way, or you can apply to graduate schools (or both), or you can decide you've earned a little time off to just relax. When you go off to college you're constantly told that you now have more freedom and you get to make your own decisions, which is true, but the types of decisions you get to make after college are far greater. Graduation doesn't mean that all of a sudden you're 50 with three kids and a mortgage. You're still young and get to have fun.
Enjoy this year and everything it has to offer, but do that with every year of life you're blessed to experience. As corny as that sounds, I truly mean it. You should take advantage of every day no matter what stage of life you're at. Life is a beautiful adventure, so enjoy it.
