I like having the luxury of more expensive makeup, but HOME GIRL IS ON A BUDGET.
This is a list of drugstore products that I use, and that I love. Some of the items can't be found in your local drugstore, but they are the price of something you can find in Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc.
Also, if you keep your eye out, you can usually find coupons for makeup at the stores listed above.
1. L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara
You guyyyyys. This mascara is so good. It's been one of my favorites since high school, the brush is super skinny so it just locks your eyelashes onto the brush for a super full effect. At first, it's a really wet mascara, so I usually put it in front of a fan for a bit before I use it.
2. NYX Cosmetics HD Finishing Powder
I have the Anastasia Contour Kit and I think the Banana powder in that kit is super similar to the NYX banana powder. You get way more product with the NYX and it's a lot cheaper. I use it to set my concealer or to dust on my face after school/work to clean up some of the oil on my face. Usually, Ulta has a BOGO 1/2 on NYX products, so I highly recommend.
3. NYX Cosmetics Micro Brow Pencil
Here NYX goes again. Their Brow Pencil is super comparable to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pencil. I have used the Anastasia one (and at that time could never think of using anything else to make my eyebrows on fleek, but I found this). It has the spoolie on one side of the pencil and the actual pencil on the other side. It's not an actual pencil, but it rolls out.
4. ELF Eye Shadow Brushes
I have several of ELF eyeshadow brushes, and just YAS HONEY. They make blending nice and easy, and they pick up product so beautifully. They're wonderful, and I love using them. Also, they are ridiculously affordable, so if one gets a little crusty, I'm fine throwing it away and buying a new one.
The list could go on, but these are my staples and I use them on a daily basis.
