If you haven't already, you absolutely need to stream the hit CW Series "Riverdale" on Netflix. Based on the popular Archie comics, started in 1946 and still publishing today, viewers watch the Core Four, Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead as they try to solve the mystery that's been plaguing Riverdale since the Fourth of July: What happened to Jason Blossom? The show is riveting, a teen drama that feels like anything but. It's hard not to fall in love with the characters--which is why, in my slight obsessive fangirling of the show and its characters, I got to thinking: If these guys were zodiac signs, what would they be?
Well, if this thought has every crossed your mind, then you're in the right place. I've compiled this handy list of Riverdale characters as the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac. I'm totally a Veronica. Does your sign match up with your faves?
1. Aries (March 21-April 19): Valerie Brown
Valerie is, in my opinion, the best member of Josie and the Pussycats. She's daring, courageous, and energetic--which would totally make her an Aries!
2. Taurus (April 20-May 20): Kevin Keller
Kevin is the ultimate BFF-- he's super reliable and does his best to help his friends whenever he can. Not only that, but he's sensual and he's got an eye for beauty--he's a textbook Taurus!
3. Gemini (May 21-June 20): Jason Blossom
It's only fitting that one of the Blossom Twins represents the astral twins of Gemini! Not only is he a twin, he's also sociable and quick-witted--especially when it comes to his escape plan with Polly.
4. Cancer (June 21-July 22): Archie Andrews
Archie is everybody's golden boy. From his rad red hair to his dreamy musical skills, who wouldn't fall in love with him? Not only does he love music, he's fiercely loyal to those he cares about--from Betty and Veronica to Miss Grundy--and he cares about his family--spoken like a true Cancer!
5. Leo (July 23-August 22): Cheryl Blossom
Cheryl is the "it" girl of Riverdale High, unrivaled before Veronica moved to town. Just like a Leo, she's action-oriented, driven by a fierce desire to be loved and admired by all, and has an air of royalty about her.
6. Virgo (August 23-September 22): Betty Cooper
Betty is the definition of a Virgo. She's kind, hardworking, and analytical-- as we see in her quest to find out the truth about Polly and Jason. She's the typical "Girl Next Door," an image of purity and perfection until Veronica comes to town and brings out her wild side.
7. Libra (September 23-October 22): Hermione Lodge
Hermione Lodge is everything you could dream of in a Libra. She's kind, helping Polly when she could and even going as far as throwing her a baby shower (spoilers!). You know just by looking at her home and the way she dresses that she loves the finer things in life. More than that, though, she's also got a hard time saying "no." Despite the way she and Veronica go back and forth, she almost always caves.
8. Scorpio (October 23-November 21): Veronica Lodge
Scorpios are the sign with the bad rep because they're so dark and mysterious. Scorpios can be domineering and authoritative at times, but they're also extremely loving people with the right crowd. This is Veronica to a T-- from the literal dark features and her mysterious demeanor, to the way she takes charge in her friendship with Betty while loving her through thick and thin-- Veronica is the perfect Scorpio.
9. Sagittarius (November 22-December 21): Fred Andrews
Fred Andrews is an all around fantastic guy. If I could pick my own dad, it would be Fred Andrews. He's kind, motivated, enthusiastic and optimistic-- even when all hope seems lost. Fred Andrews is truly dad goals.
10. Capricorn (December 22-January 19): Josie McCoy
Josie is a textbook Capricorn. She's practical, ambitious and determined to succeed and impress her dad with her band. And despite how that ambition sometimes translates as rudeness, Josie is a badass and no one can take that from her.
11. Aquarius (January 20-February 18): Polly Cooper
Aquarius is a water sign, with comes with a great imaginination and an unpredictable streak. Polly is all that and more-- and we see this best when we first meet Polly and learn of her plan to run away with Jason to start their lives together as a family. On top of that, Polly is also super affectionate, which is a sign of a true Aquarius!
12. Pisces (February 19-March 20): Jughead Jones
Last but not least is Jughead Jones, the mysteriously aloof sidekick/actual love of my life. Jughead is empathetic, intuitive, and artistic in his writing. He's everything you could dream of in a Pisces and more!
