As a former 90s baby and forever fan of all things oldie, my interest in TV shows shifted to a time in the 90s and it is more relatable than ever. While this show might be an “oldie,” it’s still very much a “goodie.” The show revolves around one or two of the most low-key, applicable daily situations that not everyone talks about. Each character of the show Seinfeld attributes to the ideal type of friend everyone needs, and here’s why.
Jerry Seinfeld
The level-headed, neat freak who finds time to turn some of the most unfortunate situations a joke. The one who will take a stand when a neighbor tries to sell you illegal cable. The one who knows how to help any friend, regardless of how absurd a situation may be.
Elaine Benes
The strong-headed, too-smart-for-her-own-good woman who finds herself in every girls’ male conundrums. The one who will always have an opinion about anything, but will have your back till the end. The one who will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and speak up for what you believe, while spitting out a few snarky and hilarious jokes in the process.
George Costanza
The dimwitted, frantic cheapskate who finds flattery the most important part of a conversation, especially when it comes to women. The one who is always down to be a wingman, in hopes of maybe scoring some for himself. The one who will lie to cover his and your ass no matter the cost, but never seems to make the right decision.
Cosmo Kramer
The free-spirted, happy-go-lucky neighbor who knows someone to take care of anything you need. The one who will be by your side during any adventure, while spewing out some of his own crazy ideas. The one who will spend 99% of their day just to put a smile on your face.
