Be The Change You Want To See In The World, Please

With everything occurring in the world today there are so many conversations that are finally rising into our everyday lives which is so important. We continuously ask ourselves why change isn't occurring around us and it's scary to think that negativity is still highly present in the way we carry ourselves and depict others on a daily basis. We keep complaining about everything yet nothing is being resolved which is so difficult to come to terms with.

The change that we want to see within the world starts within ourselves which I think is often forgotten as we view each other as the issue immediately. We need to do things that make us happy which will reflect on the people around us as we all want to achieve peace in this world. As soon as we stop blaming each other for the actions not being made and actually do something with the power that we have, then change will finally come. It's so frustrating seeing so much anger encompasses the amazing world that our ancestors created centuries ago. We need to love the people that came before us, the world that holds us together, and the sacrifices that have been made in order for us to be here.

It starts with us, and It always will no matter how old we are or what is going on in our personal lives. We can make a difference by just asking someone how their day is or reading print news about something going on in a place that we care about. It shouldn't matter if this place isn't directly one that we know about, because we all have the biggest place in common which is our planet earth. So if you can, please do whatever it is your passionate about and make an impact on others that will last for millions of years. Your footprint is much bigger than anything you've seen before or will ever see, it's what you leave behind for others to be inspired by that matters the most.

We are all here a reason, therefore everyone has a voice that needs to be shared out loud to the world. Let your voice be heard and say whatever you feel because there might be a day that you can't do that and it'll be too late. Never hold anything back because one thing that you do can change so many lives in a positive way or just make someone's day. I'm not saying you have to change the world or do anything insanely crazy, but just remember that you hold so much power by just existing on this earth. The change that we want to see starts within ourselves, so make sure that you always remember that as you go through this huge game that we call life. Make every second count and remind those that you love how much do you love them on a daily basis, life is amazing and we need to be the change we want to see, to watch ourselves evolve as well as others for generations to come.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
