Christmas is just around the corner and there's no better way to celebrate than with the countless Christmas movies that are sure to get you into the holiday spirit!

With that being said, here are 25 must-watch Christmas movies for each day leading up to the most wonderful time of the year!

Christmas Comedies

These five Christmas comedies will get you into jubilant Christmas character and have you laughing 'til your little round belly (still full from Thanksgiving) shakes like a bowl full of jelly.

12/1 - "Elf"

12/2 - "A Madea Christmas"

12/3 - "Jingle All the Way"

12/4 - "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas"

12/5- "Home Alone"


Christmas Classics

These five Christmas movies have survived through the years of forgotten presents and melted snow and they hold a special place in our nostalgic hearts.

12/6- "A Charlie Brown Christmas"

12/7- "White Christmas"

12/8 - "Miracle on 34th Street"

12/9 - "A Christmas Carol" (1984)

12/10 - "It's a Wonderful Life"


Christmas TV Specials

These five stop-motion animation Christmas TV specials produced by Rankin-Bass Productions are well-beloved and brought many of Christmas' favorite characters to life.

Santa Claus is Comin' to Town

He sees you when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake. He knows when you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake.

No, I'm not talking about a stalker, I'm talking about Santa Claus! An infamous figure of giving and good cheer around the world, Santa and all he encompasses has been portrayed by Hollywood in a variety of ways over the years and here are five of the best!

12/16 - "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town"

12/17 - "The Polar Express"

12/18 - "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"

12/19 - "Babes in Toyland"

12/20 - "The Santa Clause"


Final Countdown to Christmas

With only five days left until Christmas, *screams internally* these five Christmas movies check almost all the boxes of things necessary for a great Christmas flick: tears, snow, love, generosity, Santa Claus, dysfunctional families, lil baby Jesus, the nativity, an appreciation of life, the joy of Christmas morning, and all the Christmas spirit that makes Christmas the most wonderful time of the year!

12/21 - A Christmas Carol

There are SOOOOO many adaptations of A Christmas Carol (it's got to be the most remade movie of all time) that I couldn't only put one on the list. In addition to the George C. Scott rendition (see Dec 9th), I'd suggest going with either Mickey's Christmas Carol, The Muppet Christmas Carol, or Scrooged. If you have the day free, go with all three!

12/22 - "The Santa Clause 2" & "The Santa Clause 3"

12/23 - "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"

12/24 - "The Nativity Story"

12/25 - "A Christmas Story"
