Early Sunday an anonymous hacker broke into the Apple cloud and took a lot of private data, specifically hundreds of nude celebrity pictures.
The pictures range from A-list to D-list stars. Among the most talked about leaked pictures and videos were Jennifer Lawrence's and Kate Hudson's. The Hacker has leaked between 100-200 pictures online and says he has over 200 more videos and pictures - some explicit - that he is trying to sell.
The original leak from 4chan has spread through Reddit and a number of other sites dedicated to hosting message boards. In only one day a file on The Pirate Bay containing the pictures was downloaded over 20,000 times. Some celebrities have been open to accepting the inevitable and just tried to move past it, while others are denying that these pictures are of them.
The event, nicknamed "The Fappening," is being hailed as the greatest thing to happen to the internet. While many people are ashamed of what this hacker did, it's possible millions of men have now seen these pictures, which will now live forever on the internet.
The internet is torn at an edge with millions of horny men online thanking this anonymous hacker. However, a much larger issue is that a large portion of Apple's supposedly secure cloud was hacked at the cost of many celebrities' privacy. (Apple's stock has not fallen as a result, nor have they given a statement regarding the event or the security breach.)
Until the hacker is identified and stopped, we are sure to see a slow leak of new pictures in the coming weeks. Depending on your stance, this is either the best news ever or it's very disappointing to you.
No matter what your stance, it's probably important that you go check your own Apple information on the cloud (if you're an Apple person) and make sure your naughty pics aren't sitting around ready to be taken without your knowing,. You'll probably also want to turn off cloud sync in the first place so you're not constantly updating your cloud.
In the end, what's done is done. These pictures are now all over the internet, on peoples' hard drives and burned into horny male memories, in addition being re-posted everywhere. The only thing we can do is wait until this awesome sh*t-storm blows over.
