Cats are the cutest creatures in the universe. They're cute little fluff balls that can cheer you up when you are lonely or sad. But actually owning a cat is a completely different business. It is like entering a whole new world with unexpected adventures every single day. Above all, having a cat gives you the most memorable and interesting experiences that one can think of. Those experiences are the cat owners' privileges--in other words, they are things that only cat owners will understand.
1. Only cat owners will know who the real boss is in this relationship.
Cats are definitely the ones who control the relationship between themselves and their owners. Read the other reasons and you will know why.
2. Being a cat owner means that you have to face loneliness sometimes (or often).
They will constantly ignore you even if you desperately want them to play with you. Unlike dogs, cats always follow their instincts. This means that they never try to please humans. Thus, being a cat owner means that you will be lonely and longing for your cat's attention.

3. Being disturbed while you are busy.
Although cats usually ignore you when you want them to play with you, they often disturb you when you are busy. Cats have no concept of personal space. They will follow and ask for you to play with them when you are eating, working, going to the bathroom, or even when you are sleeping.
One time, when I had an important meeting on Skype, my cat just constantly brushed up against my laptop camera and disturbed the meeting. Luckily, my Skype partners and I both found his act to be funny, silly, and amusing.
4. Cats make you feel like staying home all the time.
Having a cat makes you want every day to be a weekend so that you can stay in bed cuddling and playing with your cats. There is nothing on earth that more comfortable than cuddling with your cats in bed.
Moreover, cats hate being alone. Cats owners frequently feel guilty whenever they're going out because their cats always look at them with innocent eyes, begging for them to not leave. How can one refuse that look?
5. You can't make them act properly.
You just can't, it's a waste of time. Don't misunderstand, cats are not that bad. This problem is from the cat owner's side. Every time that cats do something wrong, they will look at you with the cutest and the most innocent face ever. As I said before, no one can ignore that face. Therefore, I couldn't teach my cat how to act correctly whenever he did something wrong like playing with toilet paper, eating my meals, etc. On the contrary, I kissed him and told him how cute he was. How am I suppose to make my cat act properly if I keep doing that?
6. They make you laugh at their silly little sweet acts.
Cats have tons of silly rules and funny logic that will make your day.
They always look at you when you sneeze like you just have offended their greatest ancestors.
Toilet paper is the greatest toy that has ever been invented.
They prefer stealing your space rather than sleeping in their own beds.
Jumping into your bed when you are trying to make it is a cat's most important mission.
7. You will never understand cats.
They are so unexpected. Unlike dogs, cats are hard to understand because they will never act the same. Moreover, different cats act differently because their personalities vary like humans personalities.
Only cat owners will understand how often and how fast cats change their mood from happy to angry and vice versa.
8. Finally, you will really miss them when you are away.
College is hard because there are many troubles that you have to struggle with. One of which is that cat owners have to say good bye to their cats. There will be no morning cuddle with your cat in bed or laughing at your cat's hilarious and silly acts.
Saying good bye to your cat and missing them will make you love every moment that you have with them.
