So while doing trigonometry homework, me and a struggling soul got on the topic of cartoons and why we still watch them. It brought up a lot of memories of when times were easy and I did not have anything to really worry about. The only thing I was concerned with was what cartoons were coming on next. My days were a blur of "The Powerpuff Girls," "Rugrats," and "Arthur."
We talked about our favorites and how we remembered watching them while we were young, and what our favorite things about them were. We even got into talking about which ones we still watch today. If you are ever at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and you go into the Student Union Building and you notice that the television is on cartoons, that was me that changed it because I can only take so much "The Young and The Restless."
Never lose sight of your inner child, because growing up is scary. So step back for a minute and watch some "Hey Arnold", it will not kill you. If you ever find yourself in a slump, just sit back and turn on cartoons. All of the stress will go away for a little while, and you can relax again like in the old days when you were five. Live long and forever be a child at heart!
