Since we're nearing midterm season, I decided to compile a list of songs that should help you calm down when you're in a state of total panic. Enjoy some of the most relaxing tunes from my collection.
1. "I'm Already Gone" by A Day To Remember
This slow acoustic ballad is perfect for focusing your mind on the important things in life and looking back to fond memories while expelling bad ones.
2. "Light it Up" by for KING & COUNTRY
Pretty much anything by for KING & COUNTRY is guaranteed to calm you down, but this one works exceptionally well.
3. "Summertime" by My Chemical Romance
I know MCR aren't known for their relaxing melodies, but give this one a shot anyway.
4. "Lead Me Out of the Dark" by Crown the Empire
The title of this song also serves as an accurate representation of how it will affect you.
5. "Interlude" by Attack Attack!
If you need a dance break, here's Michelle Obama to teach you the "interlude dance." Enjoy.
6. "Tess-Timony" by Ice Nine Kills
This song is equal parts heartfelt and murder-y, which could be exactly what you need. And if your midterm is in Brit Lit, this song will help you get some studying done--it's based off of Tess of the d'Urbervilles.
7. "Best Is Yet To Come" by Red
This song is so inspiring it hurts.
8. "Madness" by Sleeping With Sirens
Don't be misled by the title: this is a song to take deep breaths to and to clear your mind with.
9. "Anathema" by Twenty One Pilots
This is by far the most refreshing song I know. Let it clear your mind and soul. Peace.
