Now where my shopaholics at?!

Welcome to 2017, the day and age where everything can be done with a good Wi-Fi signal and a credit card. I am a confessed shopaholic, so my Fitbit and I usually consider that a decent workout for the day. However, like 95% of the American population, I love my bed and sweatpants, with no makeup and my hair in a bun. I live for Saturday mornings, just as much as I live for a new outfit. Cue the era of online shopping and me never leaving my room.

Online shopping is my saving grace. I loathe waiting in line to try my items on in a poorly lit, dingy room where I barely have any room to sit down to rip my jeans off. Plus, the selection online is always better and I don't have to scour the dressing room reject rack for my size. Dang you Target. JK, you still have all my love. And money.

I told my mom all the packages arriving were simply for conducting research so play along. I did this for all of you! And my UPS driver is super cute, but that's just an added bonus. Anyway, below are my favorite online shopping sites that will actually bring clothing to your door and not scam you out of your money.

1. Missguided

This Europe-based shop is my go-to for all my basics. Tee shirt dresses, one-piece swimsuits, and dresses designed perfect for a night out on the town - they have it all. Cheap prices for well-made clothes. What's not to love?!

Pro tip: They always offer a student discount, as well as up to 50% off prices just because they rock. Shipping is always a flat $5 and it arrives within days.

2. Pretty Little Thing

Festivals, raves, whatever you are into - this is the site to hit up. Bloggers, models, and female musicians rock out in their clothes often. Most of what you see at Coachella or on a Kardashian can be found here.

Pro tip: They also always have a sale going. Spending $40 will earn you free shipping, however it can't be used alongside the 50% off site wide sale they do 3/4 of a year. Also, place orders early as shipping takes FOREVER.

3. ASOS

The best way to describe ASOS is a compilation of the best of everything. They sell clothes from Adidas, Missguided, Pretty Little Thing, Motel Rocks, etc. that are best-sellers, but at a cheaper cost. You will find anything you every need here - even unicorn floats. Not to mention, their swimsuit collection is to die for. If you want the cutest suit that guaranteed no one else on the beach will have and every one will be asking about - it's here.

Pro tip: They offer a 10% student discount. Shipping is only a few days, for a flat rate of $6, I believe. They also claim to not charge tax; I don't know how that works, but I don't ask questions.

4. Fashion Nova

One word: jeans! I will never buy my jeans from anywhere else ever again. You have my loyalty Fashion Nova, forever and always.

Pro tip: They are usually running some sort of 30% off sale for some occasion I know nothing about. Go with the flow baby, go with the flow.

5. Lulu's

This is by far the priciest of the list, but once your package arrives, you will understand why. All their pieces are super cute, that isn't even up for debate. However, I only order from here when I have a special occasion I want to look bomb AF for. Lulu's always comes in clutch in those times of desperation.

Pro-tip: Open multiple email accounts, as subscribing is the only discount they offer. No shame in the game.

No worries, you and your bank account can thank me later.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
