I think anyone can agree that an easy cure to boredom is watching reruns of Friends while taking endless quizzes on BuzzFeed ranging from “Which Hunger Games District Matches Your Zodiac Sign?" to “How Well Do You Know The Friends Theme Song?" I cannot tell you how many times I have found myself spending more than an appropriate amount of time scouring BuzzFeed in search of the answer to many really important questions like “Which Disney Princess should be [my] Wingwoman?" and am I “More Like Tina Fey or Amy Poehler?" These are some really important questions that I really need to have answers to, am I right people?
Well, I think this pastime will soon be replaced with a new forum dedicated to making people waste their precious time. It seems that BuzzFeed is slowly running out of ways to quiz people about their favorite items in pop culture. Last night, while watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I came across the most bizarre quiz that leads my prediction of their demise in the near future.
I will admit that I have become a fan of the One Direction franchise due to one of my good friends, Amanda, bringing her One Direction CDs for our road trips. One Direction has proven BuzzFeed-worthym as they are very well represented among the many quizzes at our disposal, including a quiz that determines which of Harry's tattoos one would be or which One Direction member is one's soulmate.
While perusing through the BuzzFeed quizzes, I came across a quiz entitled “Which of One Direction's Bones are You?" If the title of this quiz does not disappoint you enough, just wait until you hear my quiz result (yes, I did take the quiz). After a short series of questions, BuzzFeed determined that I am "Zayn's pelvis" and I am responsible for helping “protect Zayn's internal organs while serving as an anchor for some of the most powerful muscles in his body."
All I can say in response to this is that I have lost almost all faith in you, BuzzFeed. After reading some of the comments from other fellow quiz-takers, the bones get even more comical. One of my personal favorites is this result: “You're Louis' collarbone or clavicle. You make it possible for Louis' arms to have a maximum range of movement. He needs you!" While I love me some Louis, I am not sure how complementary it is to be labeled a clavicle when there are many other seemingly more vital bones in the body.
It may be time to find a new favorite article and quiz forum online to use while watching your favorite TV series and putting off that paper that's due soon. Obviously, if you are reading this, you are on the right track because The Odyssey is a pretty great place to find plenty of articles and lists that will be sure to have you procrastinate that studying! You will find some super funny and relatable things to share on your friend's Facebook walls!
