You may remember him as the youngest member of the popular brother boy band The Jonas Brothers, but boy has he made a name for himself in the past few months.
He has been, and always will be my favorite Jonas Brother. With his curly hair and serious demeanor I knew I would be destined to marry him someday. Okay, a girl can dream, right? But, in all seriousness I was crushed when the Jonas Brothers decided to take a break from music and pursue other career options. I was that fan girl who fainted at the sight of them the first time that I saw them live in concert… oh memories. Anyways, you can imagine how even more upset I was when they decided to officially break up RIGHT after announcing a world tour this past year.
Little did I know that my favorite Jonas Brother would later be releasing a new single to rock the charts. As one door closes, another one opens and that is exactly what has happened to Nick Jonas. I’ll be honest, I was still a little bit bitter that the brothers weren’t all together so when I listened to his new single, I wasn’t all that impressed. But his career since the November release of his self-titled album has skyrocketed.
Then, all hell broke loose when these pictures in Flaunt Magazine were released. Kim Kardashian’s butt pictures didn’t break the Internet, in my opinion Nick Jonas’ crotch grabbing pictures did.
His new bad boy image had me questioning everything that I knew about the Jonas Brothers. What was weird was that I actually liked it. He was making a new name for himself and breaking away from the innocent image that he had always had. For him especially, growing up in the spotlight, he probably never could let loose and be who he wanted to be for the sake of the “Jonas Brothers” image. And people have definitely noticed the growing change of Nick Jonas.
I applaud Nick for stepping out of his norm, or the image that was created so long ago for him, and venturing out to something new and exciting for his career. And really, what is not to absolutely love about his new image? His newest single “Jealous” is played on repeat everywhere and when I say everywhere I mean everywhere. On the radio, iTunes, Pandora, even in the grocery stores! And those pictures. My lord. Someone catch me while I pass out from staring at his beautifully fit body. It takes such hard work and dedication to get to the level of fitness of where he is. He knew what he wanted in every aspect of his life and career, worked his butt off for both, and ended up with a perfect body and an album that is doing amazing at the moment.
I would say that Nick Jonas is riding in the fast lane of life. I wish him all the best of luck; he will always be my favorite Jonas Brother that’s for sure!
