Dear Boys,
Let me start off by saying growing up with you guys was a pain in my ass, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
I look up to you more than you know. Whenever I have a problem and I'm stuck on finding a solution, I always think about what you guys would do and how you would approach it. You have always been role models in my life. I watched you go from continuously get in trouble with the parents to growing up and making life better for yourself. I am extremely proud of the outstanding men you have become.
Thank you for protecting me. Even though it can be the most annoying thing in the world, I am beyond grateful you ward off the creepers. I know you can scare off and intimidate the boys I bring home for you to meet, so it really shows me they have potential and they're worth my time if they can stand through that. But just know, I can do the same thing right back to you with the girls you bring home. I want to make sure the girl you bring home is someone who's worthy of your time and effort.
Thanks for covering for me with the parents. I can't even being to explain how thankful I am that you didn't rat me out. I guess it was a mutual, unspoken thing we had going on because if I didn't tell on you, you guys wouldn't tell on me.
Thank you for making me brave. Whether it was to go out and play with the big kids or to take off the training wheels on my bike, I could always count on you guys to give me the courage to do things I couldn't have imagined doing at the time. I was a brave little kid because of you guys, which still carries on with me to this day.
Thank you for the teasing. This one is kind of a weird one, but it's true. If it wasn't from the endless teasing and getting under my skin and on my nerves, I would let a lot of things get to me, but I don't because of you guys. It taught me how to be tough, and to not take everything someone says to you seriously.
Every family has their own story, but mine wouldn't be the same without you boys. I love you with all my heart.
Love Always,
Your Little Sister
