I think it's the food and the sports teams that keep me in Illinois, because the atrocious weather that's quickly descending upon us is definitely not making me love where I live. It's officially hibernation weather for me, and if you don't want to step outside, here are some fun indoor activities for you.
1. Nap: Naps are necessary for survival. As I don't know why you'd want to be wandering the streets with wind whipping your face and the cold making your hands look like a T-Rex's, what's better than spending some quality time with your bed?
2. 80's and 90's movie marathons: Why go outside when you could be watching a classic 90's movie? As if! Sit back, relax, and ask yourself why a guy like Paul Rudd's Josh in "Clueless" doesn't exist in real life. We could discuss "Hamlet" any day.
3. Have a dance party: Personally, I would have Fall Out Boy, Beyoncé, Drake, and the Backstreet Boys in my playlist, but choose whatever songs you want and bust a move either by yourself or invite your friends over, because the more, the merrier!
4. Skype your dog: Oh, hey, Mom and Dad, could you move away from the screen? The dog and I need to catch up on each other's lives.
5. Bake: Freshly baked brownies would warm anyone up.
These are but just a few fun ways to spend your time indoors. Happy hibernating!
