I have always had this fantasy about the perfect prince charming and what it would be like to have the rush of feelings and the passionate kiss and the perfect engagement. I have never had an actual boyfriend, but I have been on a few dates and I have had many crushes. If I do not understand what the boy is thinking or what his actions mean, I turn to Taylor Swift songs. It can be Teardrops on my Guitar or You Belong With Me. There is a Taylor Swift song for every boy situation. Boys are sweet and kind-hearted and any boy situation is relevant for any Taylor Swift song.
Teardrops on my Guitar Boy
This is the boy that we like and we find him very cute, but he is dating the love of his life. We keep wishing that he would be ours, but we finally face the fact that he is happy with his love and we have to accept it that he is the boy that we cannot have, but we still wish for him to be ours.
Tell Me Why Boy
This is a Taylor Swift song that I partially relate to because of the lyrics, "Why do you have to put down my dreams. So you're the only thing on my mind". This guy is one of the first couple of guys who you date and he was always sending out mix signals and always putting you down on you're dreams and hopes. He is the boy that will change you for the best.
Sparks Fly Boy
This is the prince charming with the captivating smile and meaningful dates and deep conversations. This is the boy that girls, who are hopless romantics, dream about all the time. This is one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs because of the lyrics, "I'm captivated by you baby like a firework show". Let's just leave it at this, this is the relationship I have been wishing for since my first crush.
Red Boy
Another song I can partially relate to because I really did like this guy for his sense of humor and how he kept the conservation going. The most relatable lyric for me is, "Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there was no right answer." This guy was completely a mystery that took me forever to figure him out.
I Almost Do Boy
This is the boy that we want to call, but we can't because we are too afraid of what will happen. The repercussions of talking to him again scare us and is that what we want? No, we do not want to hurt him, but we always think of what it would be like to hear his voice again, but we know that he deserves someone who loves him unconditionally.
All You Had To Do Was Stay Boy
Recently this song has been relevant in my life for the simple lyric, "Had me in the palm of your hand. Then why'd you have to go and lock me out when I let you in." This is a powerful song with so much meaning. This boy is great and you want him, but he fails at his one job which is too STAY. This boy, you just have to let go, so you can find the boy who will always stay with you forever and always.
