Throughout the year, I think about a plethora of things I'd like to purchase for my beloved. However, when it comes to a special occasion, like an anniversary or a birthday, I suddenly have zero clue what my boyfriend could possibly want. So, I decided to compile this list as a reminder to myself and for significant others everywhere!

1. Cologne

You always want your boyfriend to smell good, right, so why not buy him your favorite? This way he will know that you are thinking about him and you get to enjoy your favorite smell while you are close to him. Colognes such as Calvin Klein are fresh and smell amazing. Consider getting that special someone this to accompany another gift.

2. Custom Vans

If you go on to the Vans website, there is an option to "create your own." There are several different styles, colors, designs, etc. to choose from. It is easy and you get to see your special shoe creation on your special guy!

This could be a great joke gift. I did this for my own anniversary. I took a funny picture and got my face put onto socks. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this since I had no prior experience with putting my face on socks. However, they came out great and my boyfriend loved them. Now, you don't have to put your own face on the socks, it could be their face or their dog, etc. Have fun with it and I guarantee your boyfriend will appreciate it. 4. Skin Care Products

These tend to be feminized, but guys using skin care products should be a thing. You gifting your boyfriend some products you like or that have been recommended to you could be a great way to keep their habit or start one. If your boyfriend is not into fancy face masks, get them a starter kit that is composed of the essentials and won't be too much of a hassle. After all, who doesn't like smooth skin?

5. Snack Box

This is a simple yet thoughtful spin on a gift. Just fill a box full of snacks and drinks that your boyfriend is into. I like to give this occasionally because it reminds them that you know them well and they get great snacks too. It won't cost a lot of money and it will make your boyfriend happy.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
