The following list is some of the best books that I have come across in my life so far. Books always have been the greatest source of entertainment for me and will continue to be for the rest of my life. The following books range across various genres and are in no particular order.

15."Harry Potter Series"

Come on, everyone has read the entire Harry Potter series and have seen the movies a hundred times each. If you have not read this series, stop what you are doing now and proceed to go to a library and pick up this classic story about a boy who saves the world.

14."A Song Of Ice and Fire"

Now you are probably thinking well isn't the show past the books now? Well yes, but the show is essentially non-cannon at this point in that it has characters in places where they are not even close to in the books. The show has also cut out entire characters and story-lines so give the books a read to enjoy a fuller universe.

13."Frankenstein"

The first scary story I ever read and this novel is the perfect example of a piece during the Romantic Era and has so many themes that most people can connect to.

12."1984"

Does anyone ever fully trust their government? Do you like the show Big Brother? Well then I think people nowadays can appreciate the themes and tone set within this book that mirror a lot of aspects of today's society.

11."Anne Frank: The Diary Of A Young Girl"

If you do not tear up reading this book are you even human? A powerful narrative that describes firsthand what life was like for Jews during Nazi Germany.

10."The Gunslinger"

The main character Roland the titular gunslinger) was in part inspired by Clint Eastwood's man with no name. Just imagine Clint Eastwood trekking across a dessert following after an evil sorcerer, running into demons and mutants. This novel truly shows how insignificant we as the human race are in the universe.

9."Charlie and the Chocolate factory"

Let us all be honest, we have imagined what life would be like if we could go inside Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory. Plus, Gene Wilder is amazing as Wonka and shows everyone why he is the better Wonka hands down, sorry Johnny Depp.

8."Hunger Games"

Despite having a less than stellar conclusion, this series manages to captivate the reader from the very first sentence and hey this series also has a movie series.

7."To Kill A Mockingbird"

Out of all the required books I had to read while in high school, TKAK was easily the most enjoyable one. Due to it's mysterious tone and the court room scenes with Atticus this novel is a nailbiter and of course warrant re-reads to truly to delve into it's meaning.

6. " The Great Gatsby"

The grandeur or the roaring twenties is alive and well in this novel. Multiple read throughs are required in order to fully understand the complexity of this novel and how Gatsby made it out okay in the end (theory).

5."Heart Of Darkness"

I love books that give us as readers insight to human nature. This book is terrifying and will stick with you for a long time after you read the last page.

4. "Hamlet"

Do you like revenge stories? Well then Shakespeare's Hamlet is by far the best one out there.

3. "Charlotte's Web"

The only positive depiction of spider in existence- enough said. One of those books that I read over and over during childhood and I even did a report on the author, E.B White, while in elementary school.

2. " A Series Of Unfortunate Events"

This is the series that made me start to question those around me. The family dynamic is quite frankly one of the best in any book series out there and the story is unpredictable urging the reader to turn the next page to find out what happens next.

1. "Romeo And Juliet"

Every love story following copies the same tropes that this classic established it stand as the most famous play out of Shakespeare's incredible portfolio.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
