Do you like to read? Do you like music? If so you've come to the right place. Below is a list of eight books, some fiction and some non-fiction, but either way they are almost impossible to put down.

1. Scott Pilgrim — Bryan Lee O'Malley

The Scott Pilgrim series revolves around Scott Pilgrim and his desire to date Ramona Flowers. The problem is that first he has to battle each of her evil ex-boyfriends. He does all this while playing bass in the band "Sex-Bob-Omb" and a cool feature is that in between the panels of this graphic novel are the lyrics and chords for you to play the songs at home.

2. Journals — Kurt Cobain

"Journals" is a peek inside of Kurt Cobain's head. It is a collection of his journals organized in chronological order and put together into one massive journal with the words "if you read you'll judge" scribbled across the front. Inside are Cobain's songs, recipes, doodles, letters, comics, and so much more. The only issue with this book is if it is morally correct to have all of his writing available for purchase after he has died, since "Journals" was published in 2002 and Cobain committed suicide in 1994.

3. Will Grayson, Will Grayson — John Green & David Levithan

"Will Grayson, Will Grayson" is told by the point of view of two different boys, each by the name of Will Grayson. In this book, the characters Will Grayson, Tiny Cooper, and Jane are all adamant fans of the band Neutral Milk Hotel. While the story of the two Will Graysons doesn't revolve around music the characters going to an NMH concert is enough to warrant its place on this list.

4. If I Stay — Gayle Forman

"If I Stay" is a book filled with music. The main character, Mia, and her family get into a horrible car accident, bringing up memories of her life while she is stuck between life and death. In these memories, we learn about her time as a cellist, her boyfriend's band, and her parent's love for rock music that has left a lasting impact on her life.

5. We All Looked Up — Tommy Wallach

Something different about "We All Looked Up" is that it has an EP to go with it. Author Tommy Wallach is also a singer-songwriter so naturally, his book would have music to accompany it. "We All Looked Up" follows the lives of four high schoolers two months before an asteroid named Ardor is predicted to collide into the Earth, killing everyone.

6. Please Kill Me — Legs McNeil & Gillian McCain

"Please Kill Me" is the "Uncensored Oral History Of Punk," to say the least. Written by Legs McNeil, the co-creator of Punk Magazine, and Gillian McCain, this book is comprised of interviews with just about everyone involved in the punk scene from its birth in 1967 until 1992. If you're ready to learn about punk, "Please Kill Me" is a necessity.

7. Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist — Rachel Cohn & David Levithan

Told by the point of view of Nick and Norah, these two characters find themselves going on one long date to find the secret NYC venue to the next Where's Fluffy? concert. With Nick being a bass player in a small band and Norah being the daughter of a famous record producer, this book spends a lot of time talking about music and it's great.

8. Love Letters To The Dead — Ava Dellaira

"Love Letters To The Dead" is a book comprised of letters by the main character Laurel, whose sister has recently died. In order to deal with what has happened, she writes letters to dead famous people who affected her and her sister's lives. She started with Kurt Cobain and continues with Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, River Phoenix, Amelia Earhart, and many more.

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
