That new girl you have been hanging with more and more is starting to seem even cooler. How do you know this is a new friendship blooming or just someone to hang with? Heres 11 tips to help you decide how to label this new relationship.

1. Together all you guys do is laugh

Its nothing like having a friend that can handle all the corny jokes and tears of joy that come with you. Laughter is the best medicine and a friend that can enjoy that with you is a keeper.

2. Insiders are key to the friendship

From giving that quick look that says, “your crush is standing over there” to “Girl you may want to fix your hair” those insiders are key to keeping the deep, dark secrets and embarrassing moments private while in public. You have to be able to read minds to enjoy the perks of insiders but if yall are really close that won’t be a problem

3.You like a lot of the same things

Having things in common just creates great conversation. It’s nice to have someone to talk to about that history test, that sale at Forever 21, or that latest episode of that amazing show y’all have been watching.

4. You are able to understand and accept each other

Differences make you guys human and you understand that. It’s really what drew y’all together. Learning to accept and love a person for their differences just makes you a greater friend.

5. If best-friend calls and say she has a problem, you are down to ride

No matter what it is. It may be a flat tire, a broken heart, or girl drama. No matter what you are ready to have your girls back and she knows she can count on you for anything

The moms are more than willing to take on an extra child when it comes to your best friend. They love them because you love them. If your mom does not like your friends drop that girl. Moms know best and can see a fake friend from a mile away. You will thank me later.

7. Anything you have is also theirs no questions asked

Sharing is caring and with your bestie anything is up for grabs. You know your girl has anything you need since she’s now shopping for two and you should be too.

8. You can freely keep it real with her

If her hair sucks, tell her. If her outfit isn’t on it, like her know. You have to keep it real with your girl. She has to know she can rely on you to hold her down when she’s slipping and she’ll be willing to do the same for you.

9. "Can I come over" becomes "Aye I'm outside"
