"Black Lives Matter is not a moment, but a movement."

This organization is working for the validity of Black lives.

Validity is defined as the "state of being legally or officially binding or acceptable."

"Black Lives Matter is not a moment, but a movement."

Why must we fight for validity, protest for justice, and shed tears for lost ones, but why aren't our tears enough?

We're humans, isn't that valid enough?

No? What about how creative and magical we are?

Still no?

What about how our Black women have streams of gold flowing through their veins.

How our Black ancestors moved with grace and left shimmering sprinkles of gold dust in their paths.

Or how our Black men are built from gold bricks.

We work hard for the throne when we come from Kings and Queens of great lands.

"Black Lives Matter is not a moment, but a movement."

Our melanin skin glistens in the sun as we protest the death of one of our Black sons, or daughters, or brothers, or sisters.

From dark to light and every shade in between, we glow.

United. Powerful.

A sea of people with hands held high. Chanting, "Hands up, don't shoot".

Why must we have to scream to be heard?

Why must we have to plead at the blood of someone's loved one?

Why must we be afraid to pull over, when the blue and red lights are supposed to be our protection?

"Black Lives Matter is a not a moment, but a movement working for the validity of Black life."

We will stand for our lives.

We will fight for our rights.

We will not fall because we're united.

Our Black lives matter.
