A Gemini Tells You What Your Birth Chart Means

Have you ever looked up your horoscope and after reading it you think to yourself, "damn I think I was born in the wrong month because this is in no way accurate?" No it's not because astrology is a bunch of "hooey" that's generalized to fit as many people's lives as possible; it's because of the rest of your alignment of planets in your birthchart. Insert the spongebob meme here: "bIrThChArT?" Surprise! It's not just one sign that characterizes your entire personality. Each person has a ruling sign in each planet, and each planet rules a different aspect of your personality. So for example, your Mercury, the planet of communication and how you relate to others, could be in Gemini, the sign that values communication over everything, which means communication for you is the holy grail and beyond. You feel my drift?

Well our birth charts have three main signs that decipher our characteristic makeup. The rising sign is our overall look and how people view us from the outside, especially when they just meet us. This is our identity, our actions, and our presence in a whole. Our Sun sign is the one that is traditionally known as your main sign. Sun signs are the egos, goals, and wants. It's basically our main way of how we do things, especially around people we're comfortable with. Finally there's my own personal favorite, the moon sign. The moon sign is your true self at the core. It's where we are the most vulnerable. This is our needs, emotions, responses, and overall behavior. So if you really wanna know how compatible you are with someone in the long run, ask them their moon sign.

In the end, we have a whole plethora of signs and planets that make up who we are at an astrological level. So if you're a Sagittarius sun and your horoscope personal attack on how distant you are and your lacking ability to make lasting relationships makes you want to curl up and cry because all you need is someone to hold you, check your moon, your Cancerness might be creeping up on you. Check out your entire natal chart here! All you need is your time and place of birth.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
